I've worked with twin infants, spent time in the infant room at a daycare, and cared for children with special needs. I'm CPR certified and comfortable handling daily routines like feeding schedules, nap times, diaper changes, and meal prep. Hi there! I'm Karina, a recent NYU graduate offering child and pet care! As the eldest in my family I've been working with kids since I was little and love to work with the PreK-12 age range. I also work as an after school lead tutor with the NYPL during the school year and can help that same age range with any homework subject. I can work with children individually or with as many as 5 kids at a time. I speak fluent Spanish and intermediate French. My goal with children is to inspire a love of learning and sense of wonder in the world around them and to do so through fostering curiosity, empathy, and a mutual sense of respect. Additionally, I'm often the first person my friends call up to petsit and am comfortable with cats and dogs, including those with medical needs.
