Hi! My name is Jack. I moved to NYC about 7 years from Columbus, Ohio to major in Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan on the Upper East Side. I've been taking care and teaching kids since I was in high school. My friends and family would describe me as super positive, patience and great at problem solving. I've taught dance and soccer to all age ranges of kids in Ohio and NYC. I create a warm and supportive environment for all children that I interact with throughout my various jobs. Hi there — I'm Amir, currently a third year law student at Columbia Law School. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and I graduated from George Mason University in 2018 with a BA in International Affairs. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball in NYC's Pride Basketball League, going on runs in Central Park, and improving my novice tennis and pickleball skills with friends. My youngest sister is 11 years younger than me, so I grew up changing diapers and baby sitting from an early age. Throughout the years, in addition to baby sitting my sister and her friends, I have also baby sat younger family members who are currently between the ages of 4 months-8 years old. I also spent nearly a decade as a program director for a youth arts organization in Washington, DC which involved working with/instructing/supervising kids ages 4-15. I have lived with dogs and cats throughout my life, and I have experience with both dog and cat sitting.

Hello! My name is Lana, and I am an experienced and reliable babysitter with over ten years of childcare experience. I genuinely care for children’s well-being — both physically and emotionally. Families would describe me as engaging, patient, and warm, and my goal is to create a fun and safe environment for children to thrive. I originally came to the United States as an au pair, which expanded my prior childcare experience and gave me valuable opportunities to work with children of different ages, including caring for multiple children at once. I also completed a Developmental Psychology Internship there, where I observed clinical psychologists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, and SEN teachers, and helped with child assessment materials. Additionally, I have volunteered at Saviour Lutheran School, assisting with English instruction and educational activities for underprivileged children with developmental and cognitive disabilities. These experiences have made me patient, attentive, and comfortable supporting children with different learning styles and needs.
