Hi! I’m Lindsey, a reliable and caring sitter with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. Throughout college, I worked at a school, where I gained hands-on experience supporting and engaging with children in a structured environment. I’m patient, organized, and attentive, and I love creating a safe, positive space for kids- whether that’s helping with homework, doing activities, or following routines. I’m also very communicative and dependable, so you can feel confident your children are in good hands. I also love dogs and have one of my own! I’d love to support your family!

I have ten years of experience working as a childcare provider and educator. I have worked as a preschool teacher at a montessori school, full time nanny, special needs caretaker, dance teacher, personal assistant, dog sitter, camp counselor, and tutor. I have experience working with infants through adults. My approach as a nanny is to nurture each child’s personal development, foster creativity and learning, and most importantly to ensure health and safety. I have over 15 years of experience as a part-time babysitter for families in Los Angeles, CA for children ages 0 (newborns) to 16. I also helped raise my two nieces from birth to ages 8 and 9 respectively speaking with them in Japanese, Spanish, and English. I am comfortable with babies, toddlers, elementary age and adolescents. I am a dancer artist, educator and have worked with children my entire adult life. I have over 30 years experience teaching children of all ages, including pre-school age all the way thru high school. I have taught at the college level as well, for many years as an adjunct faculty. During the pandemic I was a full time care giver for my elderly mother and discontinued all my teaching and creative projects. I recently moved back to Philadelphia, my home of 30+ years and I am looking for part-time work as I start up my free lance work again. I am 62, married with no children of my own. I have always loved working with children and now I have experience working with the elderly as well. I am a mature, playful, warm, creative, responsible and reliable person. I love being outside, games, physical and creative activity, arts and crafts and music. I am.organized and relaxed. I can be efficient and also easy going and flexible.
