Hi, I’m Charlie! I’ve lived in Portland for about 3 years now, but I am originally from Massachusetts. I am currently a senior psychology student at Reed College and I am planning to go to medical school post-grad. I have worked with kids of many ages, either through volunteering with schools (tutoring), or looking after family members and children of close family friends. I plan to work with kids in behavioral analyst positions, too, once I finish my undergrad degree. I am also taking some art courses and American Sign Language this summer; I love crafting, making art, and learning new things. In my free time I play music and sing. I unfortunately do not have a car or a driver’s license, but do plan on getting my license sometime this summer. I would call myself a very responsible, innovative, and caring person. I am also very attentive to detail, as as well as being CPR certified! Hi! After successfully completing my time in the Navy, I'm currently working as a Field Service Engineer at a tech company but want to save more money for college and law school. Growing up, I took care of my sister off and on while my parents were out. When I turned 15, I started working as a lifeguard at my hometown's water park. And when I was 19, I worked for 6 months as a lifeguard at Disney World's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Contemporary Resort. I have spent most of my life taking care of kids and keeping them entertained but safe. I really enjoyed that work and hope I can achieve that again for you and your child.

Hello 😊! My name is Jaclyn I am brand new to UrbanSitter! I am a 21 year old mom to my first child. I have lots of experience with handling baby’s and toddlers from many ages! I come from a big family of 13! So I enjoy everything from taking care of kids to taking care of pets/animals. In addition, I do have a nonnegotiable for having to bring my child with me. She is a very sweet three month old baby who mostly sleeps all day and would not interfere with me taking care of/ watching over your child. I used to be full time associate at In n Out Burger in Keizer! I am very used to and can handle chaotic environments. They do not bother me in the slightest! But since having my baby girl I am needing to drop down to part time and or hoping to quit soon, sticking to just babysitting/part time nanny. Qualifications: Child care experience CPR certified Food handlers permit With me I also will always do house cleaning that comes with NO extra charge! :) I believe it should be a basic requirement for when being a babysitter/nanny. I know how relaxing it can be to come to a clean home! Side note: please be specific with me if you would NOT like me to clean a place in the home or would prefer me to leave stuff alone! :)
