Hi my name is Haylie Montecinos and I am 21 years old. I am a college student going for early education to be a kindergarten teacher! I have 5+ years experience working with children of all ages and occupationally do pet sitting. My responsibility have including school pick up and drop off, house chores, arts and crafts, tutoring, etc. I am a fast learn so always open to try new things and learn new skills!

I’m currently a student at the University of Illinois, studying elementary education with about two years of childcare experience. I’ve helped raise my 3-year-old nephew while his mom balances work and school, and I also work in my local church’s Sunday school, gaining hands-on experience with children of all ages. While I enjoy working with kids of all ages, I especially love caring for toddlers and elementary-aged children. In addition to childcare, I can assist with household chores and errands. I also have extensive pet care experience, having worked at a pet daycare and boarding center and volunteered at a veterinary clinic. Although not completely fluent, I am familiar with Spanish and American Sign Language. My availability is very flexible, and I have my own car. I have babysat numerous kids for my neighbors and their friends ranging from the ages of 2-10. I have worked with kids with autism, and I was a care taker for a 28 year old with down syndrome about two years ago as well. I've also been helping take care of my 7 year old brother since he was born! I was trained CPR certified when I was 15 and still remember how to perform it although I am currently working to get my certification renewed. Im currently in school for maternal sonography as well.
