As a certified child care specialist I bring decades of teaching and caring experiences to the table. My goal, as a caregiver is to ensure that your child is safe and well cared for. I currently work at a local child care center and this is one way to share my experience and skill with my community. I am friendly, easy going but thorough and firm. I’m currently a student at the University of Illinois, studying elementary education with about two years of childcare experience. I’ve helped raise my 3-year-old nephew while his mom balances work and school, and I also work in my local church’s Sunday school, gaining hands-on experience with children of all ages. While I enjoy working with kids of all ages, I especially love caring for toddlers and elementary-aged children. In addition to childcare, I can assist with household chores and errands. I also have extensive pet care experience, having worked at a pet daycare and boarding center and volunteered at a veterinary clinic. Although not completely fluent, I am familiar with Spanish and American Sign Language. My availability is very flexible, and I have my own car. I am a responsible, patient, and dedicated person. I hold a Direct Care Basics - Personal Home Care Aide certification from Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina. My training has provided me with knowledge in safety, basic first aid, emotional support, and personalized care. Additionally, I worked for a year and a half in a residential group, where I gained experience managing daily routines, supporting educational and recreational activities, and developing social skills. This experience has taught me to be organized, empathetic, and calm in different situations.

Hi! I’m gabi and I study architecture at the University of Houston! (Go coogs!!). I have been working at child care since I turned 18 as a way to pay for school. I love having an impact in young children and to teach them to be creative and have fun! I have worked in all classrooms from infants to school age and I have enjoyed getting to know so many families through out the years.

Hi I’m Evelyn but you can call me Eve! I’m currently an associate at Amazon, but I’m looking for something more meaningful where I can share my love and care with kids and pets! I’ve always been close to kids, especially my younger cousins who I cared for like little siblings. During 2020, while I was still in highschool, I lived with three of them (ages 6, 7, and 8) and spent a year helping with their schoolwork, sitting through Zoom classes, making them snacks or dinner if their mom wasn’t home yet, and just being there for them. We played games, watched movies, and had a lot of fun together, which made that time really special. I’ve also babysat toddlers here and there. I don’t have as much experience with babies, but I do my best when parents give me instructions and let me know what their little one likes. I know every experience helps me learn more for the future, and I’m always patient and willing to grow. Taking care of kids has taught me a lot about responsibility, but also about the joy of making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’ve always loved animals! I care for my cat every day and grew up with two dogs, so I’m comfortable with both small and large breeds. With clear instructions and a little patience while pets warm up. I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved!!
