Hi families! My name is Andrea Bonilla, but everyone calls me Andy. I’m originally from Colombia and I’m 28 years old. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colombia and I’m currently continuing my studies in Psychology at Seattle Central College. I have over 4 years of experience caring for children between 0 and 13 years old. I’m an active, patient, creative, and cheerful person who truly enjoys spending time with kids. I love singing, playing, and creating fun and educational activities. I also have experience caring for children with special needs, including feeding through a G-tube. My background in psychology has helped me better understand children’s emotional and developmental needs, and I always strive to create a safe, nurturing, and happy environment for them. I am a 34 year old full time stay at home mom to a 15 month old little girl! She is quite active and loves to play with other kids. If you need sitting during M-F during the day then she will need to come with me! Open to sitting in your home or mine! During the evenings or on weekends, she will NOT be with me! I am currently a nanny twice weekly to a 2 year old little girl! Previously I have worked as a behavior specialist to special needs children for 4 years and worked as a substitute teacher. I have been babysitting for 20+ years and worked as a nanny for 3 months full time as well to two children aged 4 and an infant during that time. I am fully CPR certified. I am raising my daughter bilingual (English and Spanish) and happy to encourage this teaching as well if you like. I focus on hands on learning and playing. Singing, dancing, interactive toys like puzzles and blocks, writing skills, and more. Open to helping with whatever you need whether that is getting them ready for the day, running errands, light household chores, diaper changing and potty training, meal prepping, etc! I am also very comfortable with all types of pets and have a dog myself. I have a degree in neuroscience/human sciences.

Parent of only child now in her 30s. Provider of preventive oral health services (dental sealants, teeth cleaning etc) to children at public elementary schools in Bellingham for 17 years. I have, over the years, been an owner of parrots, dogs, large and small, cats, chickens, a pig, a goat, a pigeon and a flock of chickens. Horse riding and grooming experience and lover of all animals. I’ve worked in a nursing home and have often cared for young children and babies.

I’m confident in managing feedings, diaper changes, and maintaining sleep schedules while keeping play areas tidy. I also enjoy preparing healthy meals and supporting household routines, including washing bottles and baby dishes, so parents can relax and enjoy their weekends.
