I grew up taking care of my little brother who is on the autism spectrum. I’ve lived with and bred both dogs and cats, so I know my way around taking care of them.

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Utah and recently returned from an LDS mission in Oregon! I’m the oldest daughter of 5 kids and I love working with and caring for kids. I’ve been babysitting on and off since I was 11. And have more recently begun house sitting. I can cook, drive, and handle other tasks. I strive to be clean, detail oriented, honest, and kind :)

I look forward to meeting you and your family! I am a kindergarten teacher on summer break. Due to travel and other commitments over the summer, I am not available for a consistent babysitting schedule. I am looking for one-time babysitting opportunities for the months of June and July. I will not have any babysitting availability after July 31st. I moved to Salt Lake City from Vienna, VA in January 2020. As the oldest of seven children growing up, I have lots of experience with kids of all ages. I have current CPR and First Aid certification, valid through May 2028.

Jessica was very responsive, kind, and flexible to adjust her timings with us. We would book her again in a heartbeat!

Hi, my name is Caleigh and I'm currently a student at the University of Utah. I am offering childcare and pet care. I come from a small town in Colorado where I have been babysitting since I was 11. I got my Red Cross certificate in 2017 and began babysitting right after. I babysat my sister before my parents trusted her alone, and then I moved to babysitting for teachers and my mom's friends (ages 4-10). I have three cousins in my family (ages 5, 4, and 2) and have been babysitting them since they were very little. I have babysat children of all ages, including one family with a 3 year old and 5 month old (dealt with a diaper blowout). I also have a puppy at home for whom I have cared for and I have experience in house sitting with two dogs for a week straight. I also have experience in cat sitting while a family spent 10 days in Florida, I took care of their two cats. I would describe myself as a creative person, with an imagination to fulfill toddlers dreams and games. I am funny and comforting, and can calm children down who may feel distressed being with someone new. I am very friendly and am very comfortable speaking with adults to figure out what the child/pet needs and how to continue their routine. I am very kind and patient and will sit through whatever I need to in order for a child/pet to feel most comfortable with me and/or the absence of their parents. I can drive and have a truck with a full size back seat for car seats. I am artistic, with lots of experience in drawing and writing and love to explore the creative side of children. I ski and love camping and rafting and outdoor adventures. I adore children and love spending time with them, learning about their interests and wildest dreams.

Granite Elementary Teacher– Warm, trusted, loving and FUN! I’m a middle-aged mother of 4 adults and grandma to 2 boys. Currently in a way-too-quiet Empty Nest. Due to many hobbies and interests, I am offering reliable, caring, and skilled services for:    •   Childcare – engaging and safe care from a passionate teacher who can help prevent learning loss in summer months (I LOVE creating readers!)    •   Pet care – reliable pet sitting (bred 3 litters of English Labradors)    •   Home and garden care – house sitting, weekend errands    •   Outdoor adventures – Experienced boat driver and advanced snow skier (taught skiing to beginners and intermediates) Whether you need a last minute date night, weekend or summer sitter, help during school breaks, or someone to keep your pets and home safe, I’m here to help with warmth, maturity and professionalism. Keri was fantastic! We booked her for two nights watching 6 kiddos, ranging from 4-12, while we were in town for a family wedding. Keri came in and seamlessly integrated herself with the kids and took over all situations (some nervous kids, some sleepy kids, some playful kids). With Keri being both a mom and a teacher we felt very at ease with her taking over such a big job. If we are ever in SLC again we would not hesitate to use her again. Thanks Keri!
