Hi! My name is Brenda and I graduated from UMaine in 2022 with a degree in Child Development and Family Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I’ve been working in childcare for almost two years. I work with 2-3 year olds mostly. I love what I do and I love children.

I have experience in childcare as an employee at a summer camp. I have also worked with adolescents with special needs and taken care of my 8 month old niece. I also have plenty of experience caring for animals. I have taken animal science courses and even been employed at an animal hospital. Lastly, I have experience keeping houses tidy and caring for plants.

Introduction: Hello! While I’m somewhat new to finding caregiving and housekeeping jobs online, I’ve had a fair amount of experience watching infants and children as well as most pets. Babysitting my little cousins (ages 3,5,8) is an absolute joy for me since I genuinely enjoy taking care of others and keeping things in order. I am also able to watch dogs, cats, chickens, all rodents, snakes, goats, and reptiles, (have either had one or pet-sat one) but would be happy to receive instruction on how to take care of something not included on that list! Personal Background: I graduated with the class of 2024 from Portsmouth High School in June with a GPA of 3.7 and would like my future to be full of traveling, ceramics, and cooking. With a French mom and Canadian father, I was raised bilingual in French and English but have also learned some basic Spanish, Italian, and Russian. Having another language in the house is a plus for me, and I do offer French tutoring! I also have a twin sister who I grew up traveling to and around Europe with whenever we would visit family with our mom. I am happy to do crafts, go on walks or play outside, help with homework, read, cook, clean, or whatever else you might need for your kids, pets, and homes!

Hi there! I’m Alyssa — a lifelong animal lover, coffee enthusiast, and proud pet parent. My heart has always belonged to animals. I grew up snuggling with our family Rottweilers (Greta, Mugs, and Ossa) and now share my home with two lovable giant breed Swiss Mountain Dogs, Kimber & Fiona. I have years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. From my furry best friends Kimber & Fiona, to cats, parrots, chickens, horses, sheep, and even fish. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy kitty, or a feathered friend, I understand that each animal has their own unique personality and needs. As a fellow pet owner, I know how important it is to feel confident that your animals are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. You can count on me to be responsible, reliable, and fully dedicated to keeping tails wagging and whiskers twitching in your absence.

I have two adult children. I currently work as an RN/paraprofessional for individuals with disabilities ages 5-22. When my children were younger I coached several sports teams. I also watched children in my home for several years.
