Hello my names Alyssa ! I’m currently a college student attending classes at northwest vista Alamo college to pursue a bachelors degree in nursing. I decided to choose a career path in nursing because I I’ve always enjoyed taking care of others whether that’s providing a helping hand or caring for them in sickness. I have a tremendous amount of empathy and love for animals and children, even in difficult tasks or unstable environments I always find a way to prosper and grow. I enjoy learning new things and interacting with others, through my experience with animals, seniors and children I’ve gained more patience, understanding, and communication skills. Aside from caregiving I’ve had experience in my own home and work environments making sure the area is clean, often times I even enjoy cleaning as silly as that sounds, something about making an environment comfortable and clean brings me joy. I am currently a hospice volunteer at a nursing home through my college and volunteer at my church in the kids ministry. Throughout my life I’ve also had a profound love for animals and spent most of my time rescuing, sheltering and adopting animals in need.

On the side I am a freelance filmmaker. I work on film sets for feature and short films as grip, gaffer, or camera crew. My services include babysitting and dog care. I'm a funny bubbly person, who loves kids. Ever since I was a little kid probably about five or six, my friends grandma said that I would end up working with kids, because at all the gatherings we went to I would always end up taking care of the younger kids. I have about ten years of experience babysitting kids that aren't my younger siblings or cousins. I have babysat kids of all different types of personalities and ages.

Hello my name is Selena and I am 21 years old. I am originally from California but I moved to San Antonio for college. I am currently a sophomore attending A&M University-San Antonio. I am offering child care, senior care, pet care, and household services. I am the oldest of three siblings and I when I was living at home I helped my mom with babysitting them when needed so I would say I have tons of experience with all ages. I also have experience babysitting elderly as my neighbor from back at home would pay me to watch her mother that was in her 80's. As for animals I myself own a cat along with a snake. My neighbors would hire me to feed their dogs and watch their houses while they were out of town so I also have experience with that as well.

From a young age, I knew I had a heart for care. I quickly discovered a deep sense of purpose in creating safe, warm environments that supported not only physical care but emotional connection as well. As my experience grew, I was drawn to working with children on the autism spectrum. I took specialized training to better understand their unique needs and communication styles, and I found joy in celebrating every small milestone—whether it was a new word, a smile, or a moment of connection. My approach has always been patient, compassionate, and grounded in building trust. Alongside my work in childcare, I also found myself gravitating toward seniors care. Supporting elderly individuals—especially those facing isolation, dementia, or limited mobility—gave me the chance to offer dignity, companionship, and meaningful daily interactions. I’ve learned that caregiving at both ends of life’s spectrum requires many of the same values: empathy, patience, respect, and a willingness to truly listen. With years of hands-on experience across generations, I’ve come to appreciate the deep rewards of caregiving. Each person—whether a baby, a child with autism, or a senior—deserves to feel seen, safe, and valued. And for me, being able to provide that care is more than a job; it’s a calling.
