I have a variety of skills ranging from years of childcare of almost any age (I stay away from newborns as I believe that is vital time for mom & baby & I am slightly intimidated by them) through experience as a preschool teacher who was raised by a special education early childhood development mother. I also offer cleaning services as I am currently employed as a professional house cleaner in my Monday-Friday. I’m born and raised in Arizona so I know my way around! Let me help make your life easier :)

I’m a freshman in college majoring an elementary education, originally from a small town in Arizona. As the youngest is six siblings (3/2 siblings), I’ve always been a go to babysitter for my many nieces and nephews. During Covid, I took full-time care of my youngest nephew, helping him get ready for virtual school, preparing meals for him, assisting with his homework, and keeping him entertained, all while managing my own online classes. For the first several weeks, I even helped Care for my great nephew as a newborn, helping take overnight shifts to help out. These experiences have made me patient nurturing and highly dependable. I’m kind compassionate, playful and understanding and I generally love connecting with children. I get along with almost anyone and I love being around pets. Of course I have many of my own with two dogs two chickens, and two ducks. My passion for caregiving comes naturally, and I’m excited to continue helping families while I pursue my degree in elementary education.

I have a strong background caring for children, pets, and households. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology with coursework in childhood development, which helps me understand and respond to each child’s unique needs. Professionally, I’ve worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing one-on-one therapy to children with autism, where I helped them develop communication, social, and life skills in a supportive and fun environment. Along with my professional experience, I’ve grown up babysitting children of all ages and have also cared for pets for friends and neighbors. I’m CPR certified and highly attentive to safety and wellbeing, and with eight years of customer service experience, I’m confident handling household duties such as cleaning, organizing, errands, and maintaining a smooth, welcoming environment. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy helping children feel happy, engaged, and supported while keeping the home clean and running efficiently.

Great job! T

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
