Hi, my name is Maria i am a Reliable Childcare professional talented at creating safe, stimulating environment for young children. I have great child care experience from working at a daycare with up to eleven kids ages 1 through eleven. I have been babysitting kids since I was fourteen years old! Being the oldest of six siblings. I enjoy helping little ones through their early development stages. I make sure that each individual child feels loved and comfortable, and i hope to inspire them as much as they inspire me. I am eager to continue to contribute to these little human lives!

Incredibly sweet and clearly very experienced. She managed to wrangle both clingy kids with great ease and our playroom was spotless when I came back!

Hi! My name is Anele and I am in graduate school. I am offering childcare, senior care and household services including pet care I love working with kids and have worked with kids of all ages including ones with special needs. I have many nieces/ nephews and my little sister whom I have taken care of during her infancy. Formally, I was a full-time live-in nanny/au pair for two years watching toddlers: 3 and 5 years old and a 16 year old teen. We had two dogs which I cared for so I am comfortable with pet dogs and cats. I then spent 5 months caring for a 3 years old, often overnights. My duties have included preparing meals, dressing, bathing, bedtime, laundry, assisting with homework, school pick ups/drop offs, afterschool activities, household chores and engaging play, crafts, and outings including the park. I was also a camp counselor and educator for 8 years in total so I am very comfortable around children. I am trained in First Aid /CPR (currently working on recertification) and water safety, and have completed a course in early childhood development. I also work well with seniors having looked after my ill grandparents at various points of their lives. I am able to provide senior care and household services care by preparing healthy meals, laundry and housework chores, grocery shopping, organizing, cleaning up shared spaces, assisting with errands, appointments and social outings, etc. I look forward to meeting your lovely family and working with you!

We hired Anele for a 2 hours for the first time. Anele arrived on time with a smile on her face and started attending to my son right away, engaging in his interests , making sure he felt comfortable enough before us parents left the house. When we returned our son was disapointed that Anele had to go home. We will hire Anele again.

I’m a Substitute Teacher for OUSD. I’m thoughtful, organized and caring. I like to engage children in educational activities instead of watching TV. Coloring, playing, baking cookies and reading are typically the preferred activities. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I'm well qualified to help with homework, reading, potty training and taking a child to the doctor. I’m available Monday-Friday + weekends too. My calendar is up to date. Please feel free to contact me. References are available upon request. Thank you. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi families! My name is Laura, and I’m a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny currently completing my degree in special education. I‘m looking for a new full time position starting November! I’ve worked with children of all ages—from 3 months to 14 years—through my years as a full-time nanny, babysitter (since age 16!), and camp counselor. I also have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of special needs, and I love integrating what I’m learning in my teaching degree into the way I care for and engage with kids. Whether it’s bedtime stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, tutoring, or helping with routines and transitions, I bring energy, empathy, and structure to every family I work with. I’d love to support your family, whether you need a dependable date-night sitter or more regular help. I’m happy to provide references and look forward to connecting!

Laura was great with my kid! I had the sense he was in really good hands with her.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
