Hi, my name is Jennifer. Are you still searching for a caregiver ? I have availability and would love to help! Im a postpartum doula, and prior to becoming a doula, I was a nanny for over 10 years. I have many years of experience working with children. I have worked with newborns, toddlers, and school-aged kiddos as well as multiples.I am responsible, reliable, punctual, and bilingual(Spanish). I have taken child development courses that help me to better understand children and facilitate their personal journey through life by recognizing each child's individual needs and helping them reach their developmental milestones. I strongly believe in building and nurturing warm and strong relationships through play in the early years. Please let me know if you have any questions and if I sound like someone you would be interested in meeting.I look forward to hearing from you

Hi my name is Elexis and I currently attend Sacramento State University online. I have my AA in Psychology and obtaining my BA in Social Work. I have always had a love for youth because I grew up in a big family with lots of younger kids and siblings. I was always the one babysitting, and truly grew a love for it. I really enjoy working with children as I have worked with children since the age of 16. I have worked at multiple after school programs and boys & girls clubs from San Francisco to Sacramento. My career goal is to become a social worker for foster youth or become a preschool/kindergarten teacher one day. I have 5+ years of caregiving for seniors and 10+ years of experience working with youth/kids of all ages. I love working closely with families, building rapport, hanging out with the kiddos and being a helping hand whenever I can. It takes a village to raise a child and I love to be that breath of fresh air for parents. I have a puppy of my own, he is 3 years old. I am not afraid of big dogs. I am willing to walk, dog sit, feed and play with your fur baby no matter their age or size. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to meeting you and your family :) Cancellation Policy : Please let me know if you need to cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled date and time . - If you cancel less than 24 hours: I will expect 50% of what total payment would have been. Due to the fact that I schedule my days around when I have a gig/job.

Hello! My name is Rakita I have over 25 years of babysitting and nannying experience with ages newborn to 12 yrs. I love to have fun, play games, read and provide excellent care to my families. I love to find out what my children’s interests are and allow them to lead in their play. For the little kiddos - playdoe, music, coloring and/or making toy/lego art. A favorite of mine is making oooblek which is a wonderful goo that toddlers to 3rd graders love to make. I also love to incorporate fun meal prep activities based on a child’s food preference and allergies. So if your child would like, we can make ants on a log (celery, your preferred butter if not peanut and raisins) or we make our own S’morse minus the camp fire☺️ or they help me make cookies and we decorate them, we can also decorate graham crackers if you prefer we don’t use the oven. Looking forward to meeting you! Thank you, Rakita

This was our first time leaving our 18m old twins with someone other than a close friend or family member. We had a family wedding to attend and wanted to feel assured that the girls would be well cared for so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Rakita's confidence, warmth, and professionalism made me feel confident the girls would handle the experience well. She came equipped with new books and toys to help keep them engaged and got right down to play and interact with them while we finished getting ready. She sent wonderful updates and photos through the evening. Best of all she was gentle and loving getting them both down to sleep for the night. I would highly recommend Rakita. She is open and easy with her love, prompt in responses, and reliable. We were thrilled to have such a wonderful caretaker for our first hiring experience.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
