Booked by 3 families in Alamo, CA

Hello My name is Denny, native Spanish , I am from Colombia, mom of two boys and I am looking for nice family in need of some help with their child/children, as mature mother I knowhow much love they need. For years I have been helping families taking care of their Kids and learning Spanish as second language. I enjoy of their company while I keep them safe and happy. I live in Concord, but have no problem going to neighboring cities if the job requires me to do so. I am available full time and even certain weekends. Whether the help you need are recurring days or just random days I would love to help. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested if you are interested, I'd be happy to answer any more questions you may have. thanks so much Denny

Stop right here and hire Denny if looking for reliability, true nanny professionalism, and genuine care for the children she cares for. We are a family with two toddler girls and we were struggling to find a reliable nanny. We hired Denny and never looked back- she was with us for two years and we had several trial babysitter nanny experiences before finding her on urbansitter. She is experienced and has been the only reliable and trustworthy childcare candidate we have found in our area. As a mother herself and long time nanny, she sees things that I didn’t and ALWAYS accommodated our family with our wild schedule. She was truly a God sent and we will miss her dearly. She is definitely family and my girls love the Spanish they learned with her. Denny has reliable transportation and did not have any other factors preventing her from committing 100% to our needs.

Shruti

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in Alamo, CA

Hello! My name is Shruti and I am a childcare professional. I have had the privilege to be a preschool teacher for the last 15 years. I have worked with the city of San Ramon, Childcare Careers and worked as a substitute teacher for various schools in Danville and San Ramon. As an extension of my passion and my commitment to child development for over 18 years, I also have a state license for a home day care. I am looking to transition to be a full-time or part-time nanny and am also available for date nights on weekends and weekdays. My goal is to make sure that all parents have peace of mind that their children are being properly cared for while they are at work or away. I love what I do because everyday I get the once in a lifetime chance to touch the life of a child and make a difference. I can provide several references if needed, and I would love to connect with you about your childcare needs! I’m new to this app so appreciate your patience! Thank you , looking forward to connect !

Shruti is an amazing caregiver. As a parent, it's incredibly anxiety-inducing to trust someone new with the most precious thing in your life, but Shruti put our minds at ease right away. She is one of the most caring, patient and loving people I know, and she applies this to her care of our child. We've been very fortunate to invite her back into our home again and again to watch our 6 year old little guy over the past year, who claims Shruti as his 'best friend'. She helps us go through home school lessons with him (she has early education teaching background and is remarkably resourceful in finding fun but educational materials and activities) with LOTS of play all day long. She's very creative in setting up play opportunities indoors and out for our quickly-bored little man. I would recommend Shruti to anyone, especially if you are (like me) particularly insistent on having a patient, kind and flexible person looking over your child above all else, someone who puts their well-being first. We feel so lucky to have her help with our little guy as he learns and grows, and look forward to many more visits!

Coni $35 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Coni, I’m from Argentina and I’m a primary school teacher, with about 3 years of experience teaching back home. I’ve also spent more than 5 years taking care of kids of all ages, from babies to older kids, and I really enjoy being around them. I’m very comfortable driving kids around, like school drop-offs, activities, playdates, and helping keep their routines on track. I also help with homework and anything they need during the day. I enjoy spending time with kids through activities like arts and crafts, music, playing, and outdoor time. I like to keep things fun but also meaningful, helping them learn, be creative, and feel comfortable and safe. I’m also happy to help with light household stuff like preparing meals for the kids, tidying up, or running errands if needed. I love animals and grew up with them, so I’m totally comfortable around pets too. I’m responsible, patient, easygoing, and I speak both Spanish and English. Looking forward to meeting you!

Alexis $30 per hour for 1 child

Hi I’m Alexis and I’m from Oakland! I am currently taking a gap year from UC Berkeley while getting my certifications to become a certified personal trainer. During my free time I enjoy weight lifting, reading, baking, and anything music related. I also love animals, especially dogs :) I have 2+ years experience working with school aged kids through internships such as summer camps and at Highland Hospital. Moreover, I have 1.5 years experience as a babysitter/nanny. I’m also the oldest sibling in my family with a pretty big age gap between my siblings and I, so I grew up taking care of them very often! I am also CPR/AED certified. I believe it’s important to create a safe, stimulating, and stable environment for all children. As a result, I deeply value clear communication and empathy in a work space. Please reach out if you have any questions :)

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
