Booked by 3 families in Anaheim, CA

I am a college student pursing a Bachelors of Science and Applied Arts in Child Development at San Diego State University. I have known I have wanted to be an educator since I was a young child therefore in middle school at age 11 I started babysitting my neighbors young kids aged 7, 5, and 3. I babysat them occasionally for about 4 years until I was a sophomore in high school. That year I started working with my drama teacher to help elementary and middle school students find a passion for theater arts and was a day camp counselor at the drama departments summer camp. There I worked with students aged 5-11 for 2 weeks summer of 2022 and 2023. I also worked with 1st grade aged students at my local church from 2[removed] where I lead the students to and from worship and lead them through worship. I have a real passion for working with children and find it as my way to help and support my community. I have always felt drawn to this type of work and feel as though my patience and problem solving skills have really enhanced the way I treat children I work with.

Evelyn was wonderful. patient, and kind.

Hi! I’m Marjorie🩵 I am 21 years old and am super communicative with strong nature for children. I’ve mentored elementary kids in areas of math and reading comprehension for 4 years. Been a behavioral interventionist (ABA) and have worked with families on occasion through mutuals and this platform. My aim is to create a safe and fun space for the kid(s) with the time I’m there and tend to any needs. I’m punctual and good with routines whether it’s feeding or bedtime. I specially am well rounded with newborns to 10 years old olds. I’m the oldest of 4 and understand teenagers pretty well. Am open to have a chat or call to discuss anything further :)

Marjorie took great care of our toddler. She interacts very well with kids. She has a great attitude and kept our son highly engaged, playing and learning for several hours. She is very professional and punctual. Frankly, I can't think of a single that she could have done better.

McKenna $24 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is McKenna, I have 4 years of babysitting experience with children of all ages. I currently work at a Child Therapy Center supporting children with developmental delays, which has given me a lot of hands-on experience working with kids of different needs and ages. I'm a college student, so babysitting is something I enjoy doing as a side job while putting myself through school. Families I work with often describe me as patient, responsible, and very dependable. "We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
