Hi, my name is Laura. I ran my own daycare for over 13 years, till the start of Covid when I closed my daycare. I have experience caring for around 4-6 children at one time, by myself, the children were all different ages, but all under the age of 6. I also cared for as many as 14 children with my assistant. The children I have cared for were as young as 6 weeks old to teenagers. I also have plenty of experience with my own kids and grandchildren. I am CPR in infants and First Aid trained. I took child development classes in college and have my associates degree. I play with the kids according to their age and developmental stage their in. I am Covid vaccinated and have my boosters. I have experience with children with disability and children that have ASD. (My grandson is on the spectrum.) Kids naturally gravitate towards me. I am fun, patient, loving, respectful, responsible and reliable. Caring for children is my passion and I enjoy being a nanny/sitter. I would love to be a part of your family. I look forward to meeting you. Thanks Laura

I highly recommend Laura, she is very profesional and reliable. We were close to canceling our date night but luckily she was able to save the night and we were able to have our minds at ease with her watching our kids. will definitely be booking again.

Hey! My name is Naomi and I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with my AA in Early Childhood Education. With that being said, I have been working with children for a little over a decade now and I love every minute of it! I currently work full-time in a private learning center where I work as a Lead Teacher in the infant classroom. I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, pre-school, school-age, middle & high schoolers! I am CPR & First-Aid certified, have my reliable transportation & I love working with kids!! I have younger siblings so I use them as my guinea pigs for creative fun activities for us to do. Well I’ve said too much, thank you all for taking the time to read this. As far as pricing goes, I can be very reasonable and fair, as long as we communicate and work something out! I do have a standard rate of charging an extra +$3-5 when it involves an infant-toddler as this is my specialty. Of course, my pricing also depends on the occasion, day, holiday, every factor counts! Let me know if you have any questions, I’m here to help you out ! I should also mention this- my policy is, whether the sitting ends before the original designated time you had requested for me, I would still expect the pay for the time you scheduled. My rates are hourly & begin hourly (if it’s less than 3 hours), so for example if the time is less than 1 hour, I would still be paid for 1 full hour. If it’s less than 3, I would be paid for the full 3 hours. Due to the fact that my day is already planned around the time of the sitting so it is only fair, I get paid for my time, which includes mileage. Thank you in advance!

I have worked with newborns, toddlers, and kids from the ages of 0 to 14. I started off working with babies and kids in my family before actually being recommended from people outside of my family. I started working as a part time babysitter in my sophomore year of high school and continued the work until I graduated. I would help both mother’s and father’s sometime’s in the morning if I had a later start in my school day, I would help with getting the kids ready for school such as getting outfits prepared, breakfast, and if they didn’t take the bus I would walk them to school depending on the distance but usually it was in the neighborhood, allowing the parents to get more rest in the morning or time to get themselves ready. If I did do afternoon shifts it was always after school helping the kids with their school work, sports activities, taking them to the park and even helping with their bedtime routine’s. I would say newborns were my easiest to care for considering my experience with taking care of newborns in my own family. I would have a schedule feeding time, nap time, and diaper changing. If the family did have older children with a newborn we had quiet time when the baby was resting, if we did go outside the baby was either in a harness or stroller shaded, while keeping an eye out on the other children making sure each kid had their own water and snacks when they needed to take a break or we’re done playing. I did graduate top of my classes with a golden rope, honors, and scholarships. So my junior year I was able to work with families mid-morning and afternoon, and even overnight since I was only taking 3 classes at the time. A lot of parents did appreciate the overnight care especially with newborns allowing the parents who worked overnight or needed to get more rest the help they deserved.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
