Hello everyone! My name is Itzel, but you’re welcome to call me Luna as well. A bit about me — During my free time I enjoy reading, writing , and finding beautiful and appetizing spots around the Bay Area as well as continuing my current education as a undergrad psychology student seeking a a career opportunity in this field. As the oldest sister of my family, I’ve been babysitting for family members and siblings for the past four years. Over that time, I have learned how to connect with children while growing personally and professionally, being able to babysit allowed me to understood better the responsibilities of providing a safe and fun environment to children as well as being able to truly make connection with family members and my own siblings as well! I have as well over 4 years of experience as a after-school teacher at an elementary school, working with ages 2yo-9yo supporting children’s academic and personal development by engaging in daily fun activities while following program curriculum involving arts&crafts, science, and celebrating cultural events. During this time, I enjoyed engaging with children to help them develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills in a fun and supportive environment. I am also currently enrolled in college, studying psychology, which further enhances my understanding of child development and the ways I can positively influence children’s growth and well-being. I truly enjoy being a working with families as it allows me to connect with children, understand their unique perspectives, and contribute to their daily lives in meaningful ways. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience, patience, and passion for child development to your family. Please feel free to reach out as well for any additional question, looking forward to hearing from you! Experience: - AA in Psychology. - +6 credits Child Development/Behavior. - Para Educator Certification.

My two daughters really liked Itzel. It's clear she knows a lot about child development, and she kept them engaged. I would hire her again.

Hi, I’m Cristina! I have over six years of experience caring for children from 10 months to 14 years old. I love babysitting because I enjoy doing fun projects with kids and taking them to the park. My interest in childcare really grew from helping take care of my little cousin with Down syndrome, which taught me a lot about patience and how rewarding it is to care for children. A little about me: I love reading, spending time with family and friends, and learning new things. I also have a dog that I love taking to the beach! I’m open to traveling with families as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to read a little about me!

Hi! Thank you for the opportunity to apply, here’s a little about me: I am a recent graduate with a degree in liberal arts - behavioral and social sciences and am in the process of pursuing my second degree. In my free time, I enjoy painting and hiking! I also have over five years paid experience caring for infants, children ages 4-13 and for multiple children at a time (two-four). I am proficient in tasks such as preparing/feeding meals, nap time routine, pick up and drop off to and from school/activities, and establishing fun activities to keep child(ren) engaged and learning new things. I have neurodivergent experience as well and was a treatment analyst for over 3 years for those with autism and ADHD. I absolutely love kids and am super open minded when it comes to any given task. I look forward to hearing from you! P. S I'm also CPR certified :)

We had such a fantastic experience with Brianna. She covered caring for my boys (4 y/o and 18 months) for a week during the day while our nanny was out and seamlessly jumped in to our routine. Our boys are not used to new caretakers, but they warmed right up to her. She was kind, communicative, and super competent, and I trusted her right away — so grateful we had the chance to work with her!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
