Growing up in a large family with many younger siblings naturally introduced me to caregiving at a young age and helped spark my passion for working with children. I have over six years of childcare and caregiving experience, including nannying children from infancy through age 10. I worked as a paraeducator with the San Francisco Unified School District, where I supported children with moderate to severe disabilities. This experience has strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, adaptable, and supportive of each child’s individual needs and routines. I am also a mom to a 6-month-old, which has given me an even deeper appreciation for the level of trust parents place in the person caring for their child. I understand firsthand how important it is to have someone who is loving, dependable, communicative, and attentive to the little details. My childcare style is hands-on and engaging. I enjoy incorporating age-appropriate educational activities, reading, outdoor time, walks, sensory play, and creative activities while also respecting each family’s routines and parenting preferences. I’m comfortable with infants and toddlers, diapering, feeding, meal preparation, transportation, and light child-related tidying. I am currently looking for a consistent nanny position with a wonderful family. As a mom to a 6-month-old, I am ideally looking for a family who would be comfortable with my baby accompanying me approximately two days per week. I do have additional childcare support available for the remaining days and am happy to discuss a schedule that works well for both of our families. Caring for another infant or young child around a similar age would be an especially great fit. I love the idea of providing both children with opportunities for age-appropriate socialization, interactive play, walks, reading, sensory activities, and learning alongside one another, while still making sure each child receives plenty of individualized attention and care. I understand that every family’s needs and routines are different, and my priority is creating an arrangement where parents feel completely comfortable and their child feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I worked in IT for 10 years, before my youngest daughter was born. She is 17 now, finishing high school. Last 15 years (before we moved to California from Chicago) I was working in 2 derections. I was organizing art, music events and was working on a concept of “kid’s club” - informal studying, where kids would be able to see where is their natural potential, their inner strengths are. Hi! I am a young professional working in biotechnology. I started babysitting 7 years ago when I was in college and immediately realized how much I enjoy it! I am also a youth girls softball coach and umpire. I believe that kids should be in an environment where they can expand their minds while having fun! As a sitter, I am attentive and engage with kids, always joining to play imaginative games, sports, dolls, or whatever they are passionate about! In my free time I like to rock climb, play board games, play with my dog, and do embroidery. I have just moved to San Francisco and am looking to build my clientele base!
