Hi, there! My name is Alyssa, and I am native to the Bay Area, having moved to LA in 2024. I love to read, learn about different cultures, cook, and spend time outdoors, usually by taking long walks around the neighborhood with my dog or just sitting outside and soaking in the sun. The attendance of campers varied on a daily basis but the Sunset location's average was around 130 kids. The ages ranged from 5 to 13. Every day was busy, and I never knew what to expect, but it was always a lot of fun. For three separate summers, I worked as a teaching assistant at my old high school, St. Ignatius College Prep, mainly working with middle school-aged kids. I’ve been using the app Urbansitters since about 2018 and I’ve gotten to know many lovely families as a result. I love getting to know all sorts of different kids.
