$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Chula Vista, CA

Hello everyone !!! I’m 25 years old and have been working with kiddos for a little over 7 years. I consider myself a very patient, kind, energetic, and kind person who enjoys active play and doing fun crafts. I am usually out on adventures with the kids such as the zoo, museums, farms, aquariums, parks, beach, and amusement parks so I would love to find a family that is okay with me taking the kids out to explore. I am very flexible with time and last minute plans but I am looking for a full time position of 40+ hours per week and occasional sitting positions such as weekends or afternoons. I will be able to help with cleaning, washing, and extra tasks depending on your needs !!

Samantha was incredible! She arrived on time and was ready to play. She even brought a bag of crafts that my kids really enjoyed. She was very open to extending our return time. When we arrived home the house was just as we left it neat and clean. The kids were happy and excited to tell us everything they had done with Samantha. We look forward to having her again soon.

Andrea 1 review
San Diego
$28 per hour for 1 child

Bilingual Newborn & Toddler Specialist with 9 years of experience providing high‑quality care for infants and young children. Skilled in sleep training, establishing routines, cognitive and sensory development, and supporting families through major transitions. Known for creating a nurturing, structured, and developmentally rich environment while maintaining excellent communication with parents.

Andrea took care of my 6-month-old son for two weeks when I was between caregivers, freshly back at work after maternity leave, and very stressed. She is incredibly warm, supportive, and easygoing, and her love for both babies and moms was immediately obvious. I work from home a majority of the time, and my son is exclusively breastfed. Andrea accommodated my breastfeeding preferences with ease, and never once made me feel like an inconvenience or a burden despite the fact that it made things challenging at times. My son also has a difficult time being soothed for naps by most people, and Andrea was extremely patient, resilient and sweet with him when he was having a hard time adjusting. Despite the fact that he usually screams when someone tries to put him down for naps, Andrea was successful on multiple occasions. Just as importantly, if I wanted to step in and take over, she also didn’t make me feel awkward or uncomfortable about it, which I deeply appreciated. I always felt supported by Andrea, which is everything as a first-time mom. Even though we only spent two weeks together, I honestly missed her when she left, and sincerely hope our paths cross again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
