Aidde $28 per hour for 1 child

Hi there, my name is Aidde, and I am looking for my next full-time family! Unfortunately, my current nanny family is moving, and I hope to be able to care for your little one with as much love and care as I did for all my former little ones. I graduated from California State University with a bachelor’s in Science and tutored extensively, particularly helping little ones with math and reading. This is predominantly how I began my career as a nanny! I have worked in this industry for the past 7 years specifically with babies as little as four months and often with two or three more children in one household. Examples of areas I have worked include Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Manhattan Beach etc. I am comfortable transporting the children to school or extracurricular activities, along with any cooking or meal prepping that needs to be done. Traveling with the family is another example of the help I am able to provide, along with overnight stays, either local or while on vacation. I am very flexible with start times and end times; I often work long shifts, date nights, weekends, and holidays. Other services I am able to provide, include help with the laundry for the entire family, loading and unloading dishes from the dishwasher, organizing the fridge and pantry, grocery store trips, and more. I love animals and have often helped to care for them while the family is on vacation. I am CPR certified and possess all covid vaccines/booster shots. As a nanny, I love to incorporate my experience in education by helping them learn to read before they begin school, along with a second language. It is very important that children learn from a young age to set aside a small amount of time to study and learn; for example either learning how to blend sight words or learning the basics of biology. I can help make it fun and easy!

Hi, my name is Leilani. I am currently finishing school to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), and in the meantime, I am working as a nanny. I have several years of experience caring for children, including my cousins and siblings. I genuinely love working with kids and find it to be a joyful and rewarding experience. When I was a child, I was in daycare myself. As I got older, I began to also assist my daycare giver with the younger children. That period of my life would be the most hands-on experience with all ages when it came to babysitting. By living in a gated community, I’ve grown close with the people in my village, and at times I would be the oldest on the block so I would play and babysit the younger children for the night while the adults went out. In 2020, I was one of the founders of a Remote Tutoring business where I served as a secretary, and a tutor myself. We serviced Pre-K to 12th grade and I would tutor Pre-K to 8th grade in a variety of subjects. Given that I was a highschooler at the time, I was able to build a very strong bond with my students because at times, children tend to listen more to people who are closer in age with them. Shortly after graduating high school, I worked at a Coding summer camp in El Segundo called CodeNinjas where I babysat and taught technology essentials to K-5th, 5 times a week for 4 hours. Most recently as of this past March, I traveled to St. Louis, Missouri for spring break with my college, Howard University to service that community through youth empowerment, and violence prevention. For a whole week, I worked with plenty of children of all ages at different schools. Specifically, I assisted the youth by tutoring 1-on-1, intermingled with the students about college and general life, packaged 8 pallets of toys and school supplies for nearby recreation centers, community centers, and schools. I enjoy cooking and because of that, I am experienced in both preparing meals and cleaning. I have a high respect for all my elders since I am the youngest in the family and was raised by older generations.

“Leilani was the absolute best with my 9 year old. She was punctual, the consummate professional, and instantly connected with my son. She exudes such warmth and passion for the care she provides which was observable and deeply valued. My son thoroughly enjoyed how present, interactive, and engaging she was and in his own words would “strongly recommend” her as she was among his favorite sitters to date. I'd rehire Leilani again without reservation and look forward to working with her in the future.”

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
