Hello! My name is Skylar Kennedy and I have always known that I love working with kids. I am the oldest of 7 children and started looking after the little ones very early on. Then in my teens and early 20s I started coaching Pop Warner cheer, working in children's theatre groups, and babysitting as much as possible. I started being a nanny at 19years old and just kept up the momentum. I now have worked with over 100 kiddos ranging in age from 3weeks to 15 years old. I also have extensive experience with children on the spectrum, kids with verbal or developmental delays, deaf or non verbal, ADHD, and Anxiety disorders. I am currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in child development and have my first aid/CPR certification. My approach with kids is just meeting them where they are and understanding that children learn and communicate through play. There's so much value in making a mess and/or playing outside as much as possible. Everything can be a learning experience without it even feeling like we have taught a child anything because we just had so much fun getting dirty and cleaning up together. For jobs 3 days or less per week and one time bookings, I do have a late cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will result in a 1/2 payment. Ex: if my projected pay was 100$ for the day, the late payment would be 50$. For full time families, I require guaranteed hours per week, paid on the books through a payroll service at 30-40$ per hour depending on responsibilities and number of children. I also prefer to negotiate for holiday/sick days (typically 2 weeks vacation and 1 weeks work of sick time but again we can negotiate a bit!) I also teach acting and baking lessons as well as holding mini craft workshops. If interested, please reach out for details and rates!

My kids loved Skylar! She is fast at replying and reliable. We will hire her again!

Hi! My name is Tati, I have been working as a nanny for ten years. I have a background in child education and development and have worked for several schools in the Santa Ana School District. I have worked with ages from three months to 16 years. I am bilingual and have tutoring experience so I can also provide homework help!

Tatiana is passionate about childcare and child development and it shows. She engaged our toddler in unique ways and would often bring crafts and art supplies or play kid songs to engage our toddler. Her heart is in the right place for the job. We're lucky she's been able to help out our family.

Hello everyone, my name is Abril (24yr old) and I currently go to Orange Coast College. I have my drivers license and valid insurance. I’ve worked with kids (I’ve babysat my sister my sister since she was 9 years old, and we have a 6 year age difference & I babysit my 10 month old niece all the time) and I also worked at a senior living home for 2 years (memory care included). I can cook some meals (mainly Mexican) and help with errands and some household things. I love going to the beach and journaling, I love my cat and family, and I love art and baking!

Abril is AMAZING. She was on time. So sweet and patient. My girls loved her. She was flexible with time. And even stayed late for us. We would absolutely recommend her. 100%

Providing nurturing care to children is essential, and it’s at the heart of the work I love to do. I’m patient, calm, and dedicated caregiver with years of experience supporting children in different stages of their development—from infants and toddlers to school-age kids. My approach is warm, attentive, and supportive, and I always strive to meet each child’s unique needs. I’m fully trained in First Aid and CPR, which allows me to respond confidently and responsibly in any situation. Safety is always my highest priority, and I’m mindful about creating an environment where children feel secure, understood, and encouraged to explore and grow. To help lighten your daily load, I’m also willing to assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying play areas, washing dishes, or helping with laundry. I believe a well-organized space helps create a calmer environment for both kids and parents. Above all, I’m excited to build a trusting relationship with your family. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and loving environment where your child feels valued, supported, and free to be themselves. I look forward to getting to know you and being a positive part of your child’s day-to-day life.

We hired Sandra to take care of our 5 day old foster newborn baby. She had flexibility and excellent care! We have had her for almost 6 weeks and she has been a lifesaver when we needed her! She had been super flexible and had gone over and beyond! She has done extra work with laundry, washing bottles, bringing diapers, bringing baby dish soap & so much more! She would make a great addition to any family. My husband travels and his schedule is so sporadic and her flexibility has saved us! Since it’s foster care, I didn’t get a chance to take anytime off so having her has helped immensely. 2 social workers have come weekly and have seen her handle the baby with care and see the love she gives her. Also, as a child therapist, it’s hard for me to leave my children with anyone- I 110% trust her with both my kiddos!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
