I am a child development major and have a minor in math and science. I have worked in 1 daycare and 3 child development facilities and now at a lead of an after school program. I have 3+ years of paid experience and 7 years of absolute joy of helping raise my closest cousins. Working with kids has been something I’ve loved since high school, and I’m hoping that all my experiences take me future within life. I am very patient and understanding, I believe that every child is different and not one care style is perfect. I adapt to change quick and well. Some ways I would describe myself are; patient, reliable, great leadership, extra enthusiastic, empathetic, and of course the main goal is to build a comfortable and professional relationship with the parents as well. I am a track and field athlete at the university of San Bernardino, so being active and getting outside is one thing I love the most!

My name is Desiree and I am a working professional looking to earn on the side while having fun babysitting! I graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2016, and moved down to Southern California to be with my family a couple years ago. I currently work at a cancer research hospital and am looking to babysit in the evenings or weekends before or after my regular 9-5. I've grown up babysitting the children of close friends and family for years. I’m a mother of 2 and prefer to babysit within my own home. I have babysat mostly babies between the ages of 0-2 but have also watched older toddlers and children up to 10 years. I have an enclosed backyard with a playground set, sand box, and lots of toys. I also have a pack n play so you wouldn’t need to bring one. I enjoy imaginary play, Barbie’s, blocks/legos, coloring and painting, reading, and going for walks outside (young child in stroller). We have 2 cats, no dogs.
