Hello! I’m a nanny with 7 years of experience caring for children from newborns to 10 years old. Before nannying, I worked as an assistant teacher at a Montessori preschool, where I gained valuable experience in child development and early education. I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment. I love planning engaging activities, encouraging creativity, and supporting each child’s unique personality and developmental needs. Building strong relationships with both children and parents is important to me, and I’m committed to being a reliable and positive part of your family’s support system. I’d love the opportunity to connect and see if I’d be a good fit for your family!

Profile Image: features me and my nephew whose parents have given permission for the use of this photo. ——————— I don’t am a passionate childcare professional (taught K-8 Art and 7/8 History) who fosters nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environments where children can thrive. With a background in teaching and curriculum development for young learners, I prioritize hands-on, creative experiences that meet the unique needs of every child. My expertise includes crafting individualized lesson plans, using trauma-informed approaches, and promoting social-emotional learning through art and play. I value strong communication with families and collaboration to create a supportive community for children. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, painting in the park, crafting, and visiting museums—activities that reflect my love for creativity, exploration, and making meaningful connections with the world around me. I am also currently a full-time student at SFSU, getting my M.A. in History. Fluent in English and Spanish, I bring a multicultural approach to childcare that supports diverse and inclusive experiences (by exposing a child to a new language, you open neural pathways that aid in speech, cognitive ability, and overall communication).

Victoria babysat our daughter for two months, almost every day. She was absolutely incredible, so kind and gentle - our daughter loved her. Victoria was very professional, laid back and attentive - would recommend her no questions asked.

I'm a warm, fun-loving, and enthusiastic nanny with over 10 years of experience caring for children from newborns (including preemies) through school age. Ive had the privilege of working with multiple families, which has given me a deep understanding of child development, patience, compassion and the importance of creating a safe nurturing environment. As the oldest of three, caring for others has always come naturally to me. I truly love all aspects of childcare -- from hands-on playtime and mealtimes to outdoor adventures and supporting them through age appropriate milestones. I strive to create a positive, engaging and loving experience for every child in my care. Im happy to provide references upon request and am also very comfortable with family pets.

Casie 1 review
San Clemente
$30 per hour for 1 child

I’m a career Nanny and Newborn Care Specialist who loves working with children and truly enjoys being able to help and watch them grow. I have tutoring experience alongside nanny experience and have a college degree. I'm responsible, reliable, energetic and caring. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I’m not even sure how to start a review of Casie because she has truly been everything to us. We found her through a nanny site 3 years ago as we were trying to find someone we could feel comfortable with doing periodic date nights out for us. We have 2 kids (now 7 and 5) who hadn’t been cared for by anyone else so we were apprehensive. Casie made us feel so comfortable right from the start. She was energetic, and interactive with the kids from the very beginning. After having her do once in a while date nights for us for a few months, we knew we needed her involved more with our family. We were able to have her come help us full time. Our youngest needed more one on one attention and wasn’t doing well in the daycare environment so we pulled him out of school to be home full time with Casie. She always came in with ideas of how to help and guide him and built in education into his schedule so he didn’t fall behind in anything in learning and development. She had a standard schedule (but was always very flexible in changes), and really established a routine with him. We gave her full access to everything in our house, with the kids and our lives. She had my credit card for purchases and a key to our house. She is always one step ahead of us to keep our household organized and together. Casie was with us now full time for about a year and a half and part time for about 6 months as well. Her move to California was the only reason she is not with us anymore. Otherwise I would have loved to have her forever. She has truly become part of our family. She is incredibly kind, diligent, trustworthy, takes our kids on adventures, cares for them as her own and has worked with me and my husband as a team. She truly does it all and is patient along the way. You could not find a better person to do this along with your family. She is truly one of a kind.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
