Hi , my name is Queenie and Fung is my official name. I graduated from East Los Angeles community college. I’m a house wife and a mother of 15 year old son. My family includes my husband, my son and 3 dogs. I enjoy being a babysitter because l love kids. I volunteer at my son’s school, Repetto Elementary School for 3 years, assisting kindergarten teachers with craft projects . Additionally, I have volunteer at the San Gabriel Humane Society Animal Shelter for 8 years, walking with the dogs, doing laundry and helping with events. I also serve as the secretary of the Honor Society at Sunshine Tennis School at Tample City, where my son has been a student for 6 years and my husband volunteers as a coach almost every Sunday morning. Furthermore, I had volunteered at my son’s Boy Scouts workshop at the T286 Troop in Monterey Park since he was 6 years old. Through these experiences, l have learned how to care for and communicate with both children and animals. I cook for my family every day and manage household chores. I am seeking a part time or full time job to continue supporting my family. I hope to hear from you ! l took a Babysitter training with the American Red Cross and also received a certificate on August 3, 2024. I have completed the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) program and received their certification, along with a First Aid certification card on August 15 and 18, 2024. I attended the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) basic lifesaving training class at the Monterey Park Fire Department in November 7-10. The CERT certificate will be sent out to participants in a couple of months. I have been caring for a young girl since 2024, starting when she was 9 months old (she is now 2 years and 8 months). Previously, from 2024 to 2025, I spent a year babysitting a 6-year-old girl and her 1-and-a-half-year-old brother.

Re: Applicant- Fung Yeung (Queenie) To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms Queenie Yeung. I have been interacting with her since 2018 when she brought her son, Brody to our tennis program. Queenie has been an active volunteer in my tennis school since. This has given me this incredible opportunity to observe her exceptional character. Queenie came to us in 2018 as an open minded and thoughtful individual who was very interested in helping others. In fact, she is one of the most organized helpers who I can assign tasks to. She had acted as a team mom to help her tennis team in planning and logistics. She is also a problem solver and has possessed very positive attitude. I had also asked her to be in charge of our tennis honor society as a secretary in handling our routine operations and parent relations. She demonstrated to be an honest, sincere and responsible person. When we have meetings, she is always punctual and offering great advice to others. Another valuable quality of Queenie is her ability to encourage and positively influence those around her. She has been very patient and observant. She also possesses great communication skills and was able to handle challenges when arises. In summary, Mr. Fung Yeung (Queenie) is an exceptional person with excellent discipline and inquisitive mind. With her strong self-motivation to complete tasks, and positive attitude, she will definitely excel in her career goals. With all these great qualities mentioned above, I will give her my highest recommendation to your organization. Sincerely yours, Antony Lin, MD Founder and Program Director Sunshine Tennis Foundation, NPO located in SCAL Tax ID- 47-1091227

Anisa 1 review
$21 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Anisa. I’m 19 years old and have a strong love for caring for children. I’ve been babysitting since I was 15 and have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and older kids. Growing up having to take care of my siblings. I’m also a caregiver and currently in school studying to become a pharmacy technician. I’m a daughter of God — patient, nurturing, and responsible. I enjoy spending time with kids and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I can also help with light cleaning, meal prep, and cooking if needed. I’m currently in the process of getting my driver’s license, but able to commute. In my free time, I love going to the gym and staying active. I’m excited to help families who need someone trustworthy and kind to care for their little ones.

Anisa is our neighbor and we thought she would be great babysitter for me and my husband , she has been watching our baby since he was 1 and he is now 5 years old . We just had our baby girl last month and she has been catering and being the biggest help in the household. Greatest blessing to us and always helping she is like family to us!!

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Downey, CA

Hi! My name is Janiece, and I would love to help take care of your little ones. I have a genuine passion for working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. With experience in teaching and a bilingual background in Spanish, I enjoy helping children learn and grow through play and engaging activities. I also love to sing, dance, and play dress-up—your kids and I are bound to have a blast unleashing our creativity! Whether we’re baking cookies, cooking up fun meals, or diving into a world of imagination, I’m all about making sure every moment is enjoyable and memorable. I used to work at the YMCA daycare and summer camp for three years. Going on explorations to the park, swimming classes, and other outdoor outings like movie theatre, and shopping runs. We would also have creative freedom time such as coloring, building, and science experiments. But would also stay in the facility working with newborns and toddlers. I then transitioned to helping high school students, helping with homework, and class work. I currently am an assistant art teacher. Helping with 3d art and sculpture. As well as creating schematics in architectural design. In some cases I also sit one on one helping students with presentations, papers, attire, and verbal communication. I’d be honored to support your family by bringing positivity, patience, and a touch of fun to your home.

Janiece did great with our toddler and did a ton of activities while we needed care. She was reliable, kind, and flexible when we were running behind and needed to add more time. I would rebook 100%.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
