When it comes to my style with care giving, I like to practice the just go with it method. Playing with kids, no matter their age, is a lot of improv. I enjoy forming connections with kids and supporting their natural preferences and curiosity, as long as they’re staying safe! I’ve recently been inspired by the RIE philosophy, studying and practicing it for 3 years. I enjoy nurturing each child’s curiosity, autonomy, and natural development. During my 5 years living and studying in San Francisco, I worked extensively with kids whose ages ranged from 6months to 8 years old, often staying with one family for years as the children grew. I also had 5 months experience with an infant in Fontana. I love working with children of all ages and find it very easy to form relationships with those I care for. I enjoy singing, baking, playing outdoors and all things creative. I also teach yoga so I am always up to date with my CPR certification. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and fish if you need help with pets at home. I also maintain my own small greenhouse and know my way around a garden, if you ever need help tending to your plants. It all started on November 12, 1998, the day I finally became a big sister. I was always the youngest of my four sisters and one brother. When I became a big sister, I loved it.
