Hey! I’m April and I am currently a student nurse hoping to specialize in pediatrics to pursue my passion for working with kids! I am a certified Basic Life Support and CPR provider under the American Heart Association. I typically book directly with families outside of this app to build personal relationships, and I will gladly provide references upon request! I’m very patient and adaptable to situations due to all of my experience listed below :) Experience 🏅 - 1 year volunteering with special needs classes - 3 years working at an after-school program where I took care of up to 20 children and created several fun activities (physical, educational, and artsy!) - 2 years working as a teacher’s assistant where I assisted in children’s education and supervising them - 2 years babysitting infants If you’d like to get to know me better or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

$30 per hour for 1 child

I am seeking employment as a Nanny because I love to help care and nurture your child with a routine of endless patience, fun, games, discipline, basically well rounded day that will keep your child busy but not bored. I am a very responsible, hard working, efficient, multitasking, caring person who just loves assisting people with everyday life. I make a point of making sure that everyone that is around me is taken care of that they are happy. I’m a mother of four adult children and grandmother to two boys. I was a caregiver for about four years to a wonderful family and switched to Nanny for the past four years. I have such great memories with them but my time with them ran its course. The mother decided to stay home with the boys and that’s why I’m looking forward to my new endeavor with a new future family.

“I'm happy to recommend my mom, who I've always known to be wonderful with children. I've seen firsthand how naturally caring and attentive she is with my little nephews, and it's clear how much she genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. The family she previously cared for always spoke so fondly of her, and from everything my mom shared, it was clear she had built a sweet bond with the children. It was such a special bond that the parents even made a custom book for the kids to remember her by. She has a very nurturing personality, and truly cares about the kids in her care. I don't have children of my own, but my cat Booger is the closest thing I have to a child, and my mom is incredibly sweet and loving with him too. Whenever we go away for a couple of days, she goes above and beyond to follow my very detailed instructions and make sure he's well cared for. I highly recommend her to any family looking for someone loving, dependable and experienced.”

Booked by 1 family in Encino, CA

Hi! I’m a recent UC Berkeley graduate currently continuing my education through a post-graduate certificate program, and I’m looking for a consistent nannying position that works well with my class schedule. I grew up in Marin and will be relocating to Los Angeles at the beginning of November. I have several years of experience working with children and families and would love to find a family I can build a consistent, long-term relationship with while completing my certificates.

“We feel so blessed to have found Ava to help care for our son. She is kind, smart, responsible, and very reliable. Our son instantly warmed up to Ava, and that is not what always happens. He felt comfortable with her, and so did we almost immediately. She is very easy going and creates an overall calm atmosphere in our home. She finds creative ways to play with our son, she takes him to the park and let's him explore while always being there to guide him, she reads to him, she plays water games outside with him when it's warm, she builds little forts and play stations for him while he naps for him to wake up to, and she even walks our chihuahua for us while our son naps. She is never on her phone while caring for our son, ever. And she's just a nice person. We wish we had met Ava earlier, but we are so happy to have met her now. We couldn't ask for a better and more professional caregiver, and anyone would be lucky to get to work with her.”

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
