Heron $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello - My name is Heron and I am a 27 years old childcare provider with excellent references looking to help care for your family and be part of your village. I enjoy working with kids as I grew up in a large family and was the family babysitter during family events. I have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids since I was 10 years old. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts, tutoring, cooking, and have First AID/CPR certification for all ages. I have a variety of interests which allows me to easily bond with people. I prefer to let the kids no matter their age guide our activities within age-appropriate and parental parameters as I believe that agency is important. Spending time outdoors is great way for kids to get stimulated and learn about the world by simply going walking and observing the environment. My go to indoor activities is reading, listening to music and having dance parties, and using everyday objects to create new games. I am an effective communicator, respectful, and patient.

I’m calm under pressure, adaptable to changing situations, and genuinely enjoy helping others. Overall, I aim to provide dependable, thoughtful care that gives families a peace of mind.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 58 families in French Camp, CA

Hi! My name is Linda. I love kids and they love me.We always have the best time! I turn most everything into a joke, game or story. I bring games and toys they don't have including cards. About 11 years ago I realized I missed working with children. I raised two amazing daughters myself and had a successful daycare in my home when my youngest was little. Kids are love, joy and curiosity. Who wouldn't want to be surrounded by that? Helping little people become big people is so rewarding and comical. I truly enjoy how their minds interpret the world around them. It is a joy and a privilege taking care of them. I have taken care of several Autistic boys, and one Downs syndrome boy. Kids are kids. We go to the parks, museums, movies, Pump It Up, Safari Run, Chuck E. Cheese,Rock and Jump, La Petite Playhouse, Coyote Point, libraries, classes, fairs, parties, and anything else that sounds fun. Indoors we play with trains, cars, games, I Pads, play dough and balloons. We paint, color, watch videos, read, exercise, do puzzles, indoor rides and use lots of imagination. I also am a certified Food Handle. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon! Linda White

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
