Booked by 1 family in Garden Grove, CA

Hi families! I’m Kaylee, a reliable and experienced caregiver who loves working with kids of all ages, from infants to school-aged. I currently work as a paraeducator for Cypress School District, where I support learning and engaging activities. I’ve also coached swimming, helping children build confidence and safety skills in the water. I’m CPR-certified, patient, and committed to creating a safe, positive environment for your kids. Along with childcare, I’m happy to help with light household tasks and pet care. My goal is to support your family and make your days a little easier!

Kaylee is a wonderful babysitter. I needed to find a last minute sitter for my 10 and 6 year old daughters. She offered to speak with me on the phone before hand. She played games with my kids and they had a great time. Kaylee was on time and I eager to get to know my kiddos. Kaylee followed all my instructions and kept me updated I look forward to having her back.

$28 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Skylar Kennedy and I have always known that I love working with kids. I am the oldest of 7 children and started looking after the little ones very early on. Then in my teens and early 20s I started coaching Pop Warner cheer, working in children's theatre groups, and babysitting as much as possible. I started being a nanny at 19years old and just kept up the momentum. I now have worked with over 100 kiddos ranging in age from 3weeks to 15 years old. I also have extensive experience with children on the spectrum, kids with verbal or developmental delays, deaf or non verbal, ADHD, and Anxiety disorders. I am currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in child development and have my first aid/CPR certification. My approach with kids is just meeting them where they are and understanding that children learn and communicate through play. There's so much value in making a mess and/or playing outside as much as possible. Everything can be a learning experience without it even feeling like we have taught a child anything because we just had so much fun getting dirty and cleaning up together. For jobs 3 days or less per week and one time bookings, I do have a late cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will result in a 1/2 payment. Ex: if my projected pay was 100$ for the day, the late payment would be 50$. For full time families, I require guaranteed hours per week, paid on the books through a payroll service at 30-40$ per hour depending on responsibilities and number of children. I also prefer to negotiate for holiday/sick days (typically 2 weeks vacation and 1 weeks work of sick time but again we can negotiate a bit!) I also teach acting and baking lessons as well as holding mini craft workshops. If interested, please reach out for details and rates!

My kids loved Skylar! She is fast at replying and reliable. We will hire her again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
