Being around children has always been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m a proud mom of three wonderful kids, now 21, 22, and 16, and I’ll soon be stepping into the exciting new role of grandmother. Raising my own children has given me years of experience, patience, and understanding — and it has truly shaped who I am today. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of helping to raise and babysit my nieces, nephews, and the children of close friends. Each child I’ve cared for has taught me something new, from the importance of creativity and play to the value of listening with a kind and patient heart.
