I also have my CPR/First Aid Pediatric for adults/children; I also have my certificate for child development. I’ve been a preschool teacher for 6 years already and I couldn’t be any happier with my dream job. I love teaching and watch them get excited of their accomplishments for example help with fine-motor skills,tracing,numbers, colors etc. I can help children and elderly; and also fur babies by going for a walk and play with him/her. Hello, my name is Crystal. I’m 31 years old and earned my B.A. in Child Development and Family Studies from CSULB in 2018. I recently received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and am excited to continue growing in the field of education. I have always had a passion for working with children and began babysitting at 15 years old, caring for my younger sibling and cousins. Throughout high school, I volunteered in after-school programs where I worked with elementary-aged children, helping them complete homework and build strong study skills. After graduating, I worked as a program leader, managing a class of about 20 children. My responsibilities included planning engaging activities, ensuring safety, serving snacks, collaborating with families and staff, and creating a fun, nurturing, and structured environment. I also have experience as an elementary tutor and a full-time preschool teacher, where I built strong relationships with families and provided additional babysitting support when needed. During COVID, I worked as a full-time nanny for multiple families until 2023. Since January 2023, I have been working as a substitute teacher while continuing my education.
