Up to $45/hr when combined with Tutoring or Behavioral Therapy. (Overnight/Holiday extra). 🔹 Bookings & OT: 4-6 hour minimum; prefer full-time positions (8-9 hrs/day). Overtime is 1.5x after 40 hrs/wk and 2.5x for 6+ days/wk. 🔹 Duties: Child-related chores and organic child meal prep are always included. Additional household chores require an extra negotiated fee. 🔹 Payment & Legal: Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or Square accepted. Hi my name is Cynthia. I graduated from East Los Angeles College in Dec. 2021 earning a degree in social and behavioral sciences. I am currently enrolled in nursing school. I have 3 younger siblings who I have babysat. I have worked at a church day care in Texas called Cross Pointe. My tasks consists: change diapers, feed, read bible verses, and interact with children. There came a time where a child was very upset started crying I took action and calmed him down by playing with him. *I am fully vaccinated and boosted.* - I do not mind working at late hours into the night and for you to extend your hours if needed. - I have been with UrbanSitter for 9 years and have babysat for children ranging from infant to 10 years old. I used to also volunteer at a child care, consecutively for 4 years, over the summer where I looked after 5-7 children at a time and helped with play and reading time, arts & crafts, snack and lunchtime, and naptime; these children's ages ranged from 6 months to 4 years. - I enjoy caring for children and engaging with them through reading, baking and going on outings such as the park or beach. I also do not mind having animals in the home while I am babysitting. POLICIES: -RATES: I negotiate my rates based on the expectations and requirements of the job. My rate stays the same whether or not the child(ren) is/are sleeping or awake. -MINIMUM: I have a three-hour minimum for bookings. This can be flexible for certain situations. -EARLY RETURNS: I plan and budget around the number of hours booked so I do request to be paid the full amount even if you may arrive early. -LATE RETURNS: I always try and be flexible with parents on timing, especially with date night bookings.
