Samantha Los Angeles
$30 per hour for 1 child

My name is Samantha and I'm currently offering child and pet care services! I have been babysitting/nannying for family, friends, and professionally on and off since I was a teenager. I have cared for children of all ages, newborn-14 years old. I am an extremely responsible and diligent individual who always puts the health and safety of the children first. But I'm also a fun, smart, and lively person who will make sure your kids are engaged and always enjoying themselves. I hope to enrich their lives in a positive way, be a good example to them, teach them and give them new experiences (i.e. taking them to do fun activities), and overall just make sure that they are comfortable and happy in the absence of their parents. I can also help with homework, household chores, laundry, cooking, errands, drops offs/pick-ups, after school activities, etc. I have a safe and reliable car, clean driving record, and am CPR/First Aid Certified. I also have extensive experience with dogs and cats and have grown up with pets my entire life. I can walk, feed, play, and spend time with your pets as needed. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes (assuming that their temperament is good).

Jeemin 1 review
Los Angeles
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Granada Hills, CA

Hi, I’m Justine (Jeemin is my Korean name). I’ve spent many years living and working inside family homes—as a nanny, a mother’s helper, a household manager, and a personal chef. My love for children has always felt very natural to me, and I followed my passion by studying Early Childhood Education while earning my B.A. in Psychobiology at UC San Diego. During that time, I lived with a professional athlete and cared for his family and baby girl who was born at just 27 weeks. For almost 5 years, I was by her side after she faced six strokes and many developmental challenges. I learned, in a very real and personal way, what it means to show up every day with patience, curiosity, and love—and how constant learning, training and devoted care can help a child grow and thrive. I view my true value as providing full family support. I’m very comfortable stepping into the real, everyday rhythm of a household: early mornings, laundry, dishes, AM/PM routines, last-minute changes, and everything in between. I take a kind, clear approach to childcare: safety first, connection over correction and empathy always. I stay current on modern child development practices and am especially interested in music therapy, physiotherapy, emotional literacy, and play-based learning. In simple terms, I care about how a child feels in their body and heart, not just what they “do” in a day. I'm also a Naturopathic Cook and have been entrusted to prepare nutritious meals for children & entire households.

Justine is the real deal and honestly we can't put into words how amazing she is. Every morning she walks in and our 9 month old lights up the same way he does when he sees us. It's one of the things I look forward to every day. She puts her stuff down and forgets she even had a breakfast to eat or a tea to make because she's already fully locked in with him and he with her. That's just who she is and it never changes. She cares so much about his development and you can see it in how she approaches everything with him. Justine does not sit still. She's always doing something to make his life and ours easier without anyone asking. She jumps in and just figures it out. We trust her completely with our little one, our home, anything and when our schedule shifts she just rolls with it, no questions. She makes time. Like I said, words do not do her justice. If you're at all hesitant, don't. Shoot us a message, happy to jump on a call and tell you all about her.

$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Jade and I'm a caregiver in the Los Angeles area. I have a total of 7 years of experience in child care. I am currently attending college for a degree in Philosophy and Theology and a minor in math, so I am primarily looking for a summer nanny position from May - August 14. I have a background in art (I attended art school briefly) and have other hobbies which include tennis, crochet, flute, piano, reading, gardening and anything craft related. I am always open to teach and learn new hobbies and skills with those that are interested. In terms of childcare experience, I've been a nanny for the age range of 6 months to 12 years old. I've been told that I am patient, reliable, calm and a good listener. I am also good with pets and am up for walking dogs or caring for any other animals when needed. I am willing to do light household chores and am up for cleaning, laundry, watering plants and whatever needs to be done to keep the household running smoothly. I can also provide excellent references upon request. I look forward to finding a family that will be a good fit!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
