Hi! I’m Lauren. I was born and raised in LA and am one of 3 siblings. I started babysitting my younger brother when he was 1 and I was 11, and I started working with kids ages 4+ through my middle school around that time. I spent my last 2 years of high school in south India where through my school, I helped design and execute a curriculum about puberty, feminine health, and physical safety to empower school-aged girls in rural communities. I returned to LA in 2020, and have been working and studying fashion ever since. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, drawing, arts and crafts, playing pretend, building, and more! As someone who has the lived experience of being neurodivergent and having chronic health issues, I’m more than comfortable with and happy to work with children experiencing the same things! Previously, I studied music therapy at Berklee College of Music before coming here to pursue music. I am offering child care, senior care, and pet care. During my music therapy studies, I focused on helping children with communication and social skills, and seniors with cognitive ability and memory care. I’m passionate about helping people of all ages express themselves and learn. I’ve been babysitting for various families in my hometown since my early teens, and love spending time with children.
