Hi! I’m Lauren. I was born and raised in LA and am one of 3 siblings. I started babysitting my younger brother when he was 1 and I was 11, and I started working with kids ages 4+ through my middle school around that time. I spent my last 2 years of high school in south India where through my school, I helped design and execute a curriculum about puberty, feminine health, and physical safety to empower school-aged girls in rural communities. I returned to LA in 2020, and have been working and studying fashion ever since. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, drawing, arts and crafts, playing pretend, building, and more! As someone who has the lived experience of being neurodivergent and having chronic health issues, I’m more than comfortable with and happy to work with children experiencing the same things! I have 30 plus years of house service experience being a mother I have to cook, clean and run errands all the things as a single mother. I have 20 years of experience with working with seniors as well. I use to take care of my great aunt during her dementia. Then I had to assist my mom with my stepdad through his dementia journey until his passing. I have experience with the feeding tube. Colostomy bag, diaper, changing and administrating certain medication. Cook based on dietary requirement, running errands and assisting with feeding if needed. I am open ti doing other task as well.
