Hello! My name is Shilpa, I am 24 and a fine arts student at Otis College of Art and Design. I am hoping to eventually use my degree to work as an art teacher for elementary or middle schoolers! My love of working with children began as baby-sitting jobs throughout my teenage years and only grew once I worked from 2023-the summer of 2025 as an early childhood educator. I am originally from Seattle, and moved down to Los Angeles this year in July. For the past two years (up until my move), I worked as a floating teacher at Epiphany Early Learning Preschool, working with children aged 18 months to 5 years old. Although I loved all the age groups I worked with, I especially loved working with children aged 2-3. I find caring for and helping children grow to be one of the most rewarding experiences, and I am very passionate about building strong relationships with kids as well as their families. I also worked as an art teacher at Epiphany, and I really enjoy coming up with creative activities that are engaging and appropriate for the age of children I am working with! It would be such a privilege to get to know your children as well as your family! I am a serious cat lover as well and would be happy to provide pet care for cats, however I am allergic to dogs. Due to my school schedule I am looking to provide caregiving in the evenings and late afternoons!

Hi! My name is Agathe, I’m a 26 years old french filmmaker located in Los Angeles since 2023. I work with kids on the side of building my career here. I have always loved working with kids, I started babysitting when I was about 13. My mom worked in a preschool/elementary school her whole life and I was often helping her out with her classes, preparing activities and hanging out with the kids. A lot of part time jobs came out of this as the parents were happy to hire someone their kids already knew. I got my first full time nannying job when I was 22 in France and took care of two boys (1 and 3) 40 hours a week for over a year and really enjoyed it. I have been working as a part time nanny here for the past few years and would love to find new families to work with! I can happily send references to families both here in LA or in France. As of my personality, I am a very patient and listening person, especially with kids. I love to see them grow into their own person and guide them through that process. I adapt to each families needs pretty well and always clean up after any activity or child related mess.
