Booked by 3 families in Marina Del Rey, CA

Hi! My name is Sheily, and I’m 24 years old. I started nannying when I was 19 and have worked with children from 4 months to 12 years old. I’m caring, responsible, and love creating a fun, safe, and positive space for kids to grow and learn. I’m very organized and enjoy planning creative activities that keep kids engaged—whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor games, or helping with school projects. I also assist with homework and make learning fun and encouraging. I have a reliable car and can handle school pick-ups and drop-offs. I’m happy to help with light meal prep, packing lunches, light household cleaning, grocery shopping, running errands, and even walking dogs. I’m looking to work with a family that values reliability, warmth, and open communication. I’d love the chance to meet and see if I’d be a great fit for your family!

Sheily was amazing with out 18month girl. It’s my first time hiring a sitter, so I was nervous to leave my girl, and how this would work, since my girl has been clingy at this stage. Sheily was able to calm and reassure me and Zoe immediately warmed to Sheily and I was nowhere to be seen! Sheily was attentive and took cues from our girl as to meal, play and diaper times. Such a great first experience with a babysitter that I’m looking forward to seeing Sheily again. If we weren’t simply visiting, I’d want to hire you permanently!

Booked by 1 family in Marina Del Rey, CA

Hi my names Isabella and l’m a college student at LAHC with the goal of becoming an oncologist! I’m offering childcare, pet care, house services, tutoring, and driving services. I have experience caring for infants to pre-teens. I have been helping family and friends since I was 14, and I love doing it. I am available to assist with tutoring, meal preparation, transportation (to/from school, practice, etc), laundry, activities, and different crafts, such as painting, gardening, karaoke, neighborhood walks, and movie watching. I’m also comfortable working with pet friendly households. I have my own vehicle which is family friendly and will provide a safe transportation for loved ones, and any groceries etc. It is a 2024 ford bronco. Clean driving record. Smoke free. References available.

Wonderful babysitter experience We hired Isabella, a fantastic babysitter, for our six-year-old, and it was a breeze from start to finish. She arrived on time, was warm and engaging with our son, and quickly built a rapport with him. He came home excited to tell us about the time they spent together. What stood out: Safety and reliability: punctual, communicative, and trustworthy. Shared adventures: they went to Chuck E. Cheese together, where Isabella played games with him. Personal touches: she played his favorite music in the car. Attentiveness: she was very attentive throughout the evening. Communication: gave a full report of everything they did together. Positive, encouraging attitude: our son felt seen, valued, and genuinely happy. Our son can’t wait to hang out with her again, and we will definitely be asking Isabella to watch my son again. Highly recommended!

Booked by 1 family in Marina Del Rey, CA

Ciao! - My name is Maya, and I'm currently a student at UCLA. Becoming a babysitter stemmed from positive experiences babysitting my younger cousins and volunteering at a daycare in my teenage years. I am a very intuitive, patient, and caring person who loves helping others out. I am comfortable caring for children 2 and up and can comfortably handle watching 3 munchkins at a time :). My responsibilities in past sits have included crafts, homework help, cooking, cleaning, reading, and playing video or board games. I am also First Aid, CPR, and American Red Cross Lifeguard certified! <3

Wonderful with my son! That’s not easy now that he’s nearly a teenager (about to start 6th grade) and shies away and wants to be on his computer, but Maya somehow managed to engage him in both Mario Kart and chess! Usually when looking for a new sitter, I pick someone with many reviews/bookings but Maya had been recommended by a friend. She also dealt with the kitchen/dishes, and all the papers/pencils on the dining table. (And lined up the shoes. Not requested but little things like that are huuugely appreciated.) She’s sat him a couple of times now so can safely say: Attention to detail, timeliness, flexibility, dependability and report with my son = 🙌 ⭐️x5

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
