My role as a nanny has morphed multiple times over the years. I have mostly started with families with infants and have stayed on while they transition to toddlers and then school age. I'm always happy to help with meal prep, carpooling, and going on fun excursions with the kiddos while cultivating a safe, nurturing and fun environment. I really enjoy being outdoors and weaving in educational facts as I myself enjoy nature, gardening and camping. I try to encourage exploration of topics like reading (I am a voracious reader), gardening, international cultures ( I am half Hispanic and can speak a smidge of Spanish), cuisine and different genres of music. I believe that children should be immersed in the world they live in and see the magic that can be had if we just take the time to observe. Due to relocating to Sacramento mid-December, I am sad to leave my current nanny family. I have been with them for about 7 years. The children are currently 8 and soon to be 5. Hello, I recently relocated from the Bay Area to Sacramento and very much look forward to working with your family! I have a B.A. in History (emphasis in Latin America) and M.A. in Education (emphasis on Bilingual Education) from the University of San Francisco. I was fortunate to study abroad in Morocco through USF. I had the pleasure of working as a middle and high school teacher in Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. I have a passion for child care, language learning, world cultures, travel, and food.

I am a mother of 3 boys; my oldest is now 18 years old and my youngest are twin 13 year old boys. To say that I have experience with children would be an extreme understatement. I am trying to return to the general workforce but since I primarily have experience in the medical field with extensive medical experience I was hoping that childcare would be a good entryway.
