I’m Lalida, and I’m excited to offer child care, senior care, and household help. I’ve been babysitting since I was 24, and I’ve cared for children of all ages, from newborns to toddlers and even twins. I speak English, Thai, and Cambodian, so I can connect with different families. I enjoy doing fun activities with kids like crafts, tutoring, and dance lessons, as well as playing games that help them learn. I can also help with cooking, cleaning, and senior care. I’m comfortable working with pets, too! If you need a reliable and caring sitter, I’d love to help your family.

We have known Lalida for awhile and she’s been great with our two kids. She is attentive and asks all the right questions, willing to help and very kind and nurturing. She is fun and is playful so our kids like having her around

Booked by 5 families in Menlo Park, CA

HI! I'm a mom of three (ages 15, 20, and 23) with 9 years of professional nanny experience, plus 14 years at home raising my own kids. I've cared for every age from newborns to teenagers, and I genuinely love them all. Most of my career has been spent in long-term positions with two families, staying with each of them for several years as their kids grew. My days with kids are active and full. I'm big on outings: the park, the library, music classes, and the zoo. I like creating a home that feels fun and silly, with plenty of music and cooking. I'm also a serious animal lover, so pets in the house are a bonus. Beyond childcare, I'm hardworking and detail oriented, and cleaning and organizing are my specialties. I'm also well versed in food allergies and special diets. I have Celiac Disease myself and follow a strict gluten-free routine, so label-reading and avoiding cross-contamination are second nature to me. I speak conversational Spanish. Not fluent, but enough to hold a real conversation. One practical note: I'm highly allergic to Lavender, so I ask that Lavender scented products not be used in the home. Lavender growing outside is no problem at all. I'm available for occasional sitting and am also looking for the right full-time position with a family I can grow with. I'd love to hear about your family and whatever you might need.

Brandi is an exceptional nanny - highly experienced with all ages and incredibly energetic and warm. We were fortunate to have her as our full-time nanny and an integral part of our family for nearly 4 years. She cared for our older son from 4 months on and helped us set a regular napping/feeding schedule with him right off the bat. Over the years, she helped us transition to new nap schedules, new foods, new activities, and a new little brother. Brandi maintained a fun weekly schedule with both boys, taking them to library story times, MyGym, music classes, and coming up with myriad arts and crafts activities. We highly recommend Brandi - it’s such a relief to have an experienced caregiver you can trust!

Booked by 7 families in Menlo Park, CA

I’m a 26-year-old nanny with over two years of experience as an au pair and several years working with families throughout the Bay Area. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids and I’m currently getting certified as a postpartum doula. I studied law in Brazil and occasionally help my mom with her law firm, which has strengthened my organization, responsibility and communication skills. I’m fluent in Portuguese and English, speak basic Spanish and I used to play soccer in Brazil, which helps me bring fun, energy and active play into my caregiving. I’m caring, reliable, and dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive.

Dominick arrived on time, and my 7yo and 9yo boys had lots of fun with her! When my husband arrived home, they were flying paper airplanes together. We would love to have her back!

Booked by 5 families in Menlo Park, CA

Hi! My name is Catia — I’m 25 years old and based in Palo Alto. I have several years of experience working with children from toddlers through elementary school, both in private homes and educational settings. I currently work as a Program Manager with Right At School at Ohlone Elementary, where I lead after-school programs that support kids’ social, emotional, and academic growth. Alongside that, I’ve provided nanny and babysitting care for multiple families over the years, caring for children as young as 4months up to 5 years old. I love creating fun, engaging, and safe environments for kids to learn and explore through play. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified, bilingual in Spanish, and experienced with supporting children with different learning and behavioral needs. Families describe me as responsible, kind, and dependable, and I truly enjoy building positive relationships with both kids and parents. I’d love to bring that same energy and care to your family! -Catia :)

My daughter loved playing with Catia! She was very fun and engaged with art projects and playing dolls :) We would love to have her back another time!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
