Amariya $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Amariya, and I’m currently a dental assistant trying to figure out what I want to do next. I’m offering childcare, senior care, and household services. I’ve been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I’ve watched newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) and have taken on various responsibilities, such as driving to and from school, crafts, tutoring, and even dance lessons. In addition to babysitting, I also work as a household assistant. I can cook, clean, and run errands. I’m also a great bridge partner! I’m allergic to cats, but I’m happy to work with families that have dogs.

Im a very clean person and love to be organized. As in also I’ve cared for senior people I have a lot of patience. I’ve cared for my grandma and with time have valued the time I have with her and think they all deserve to be taken care of as well and be heard. I know how to cook it’s a passion I have, I have a lot of experience in helping in homework with kids as I do with my little brother. I love to play outside with kids as sport activities or even in doors with puzzles or toys they like. I have a warm heart for kids and believe they should always have someone to be able to help them and care for them. I will make sure your kid has there homework and learns more than school work is provided. My goal is to make them feel safe and loved by taking care of them and helping them out in tasks with all the patience I have. I can also drive to any appointment or do other tasks! Amara 1 review
$27 per hour for 1 child

I am currently a graduate from IESEG University with my master's. I love kids and supporting moms and families. The babysitters and nannies I had growing up left a strong positive impression on me. I understand the value of being responsible, engaging, and a good role model. I am comfortable with after-school pickup, snacks, homework, and most of all, engaging in fun activities!

I highly recommend Amara!!! Amara worked as my daughter's after-school / part-time babysitter a little over a year ago when my daughter was in first grade...as well as occasionally babysitting her at various times since then. She was great!! She did an amazing job and is great with kids. She picked my daughter up five days a week from school, took her on the subway home (~20 minutes), took her to any activities, and helped with homework, etc. She was very responsible and mature and I felt very safe with her taking care of my daughter and taking her places, and she helped with her homework. My daughter loved her as well- Amara was fun and sweet to her and would "play" with her - fun imaginative things. Anyone would be lucky to have Amara as a sitter! We stopped her using Amara on a daily basis because she was studying abroad in Paris but, since she has been back, have used her a date night sitter.

Hi there, I'm Evie! Your trusted childcare provider with over twelve years of experience working with families from Ireland to New York city and beyond. With a background in newborn care and a passion for creative play I am dedicated to making each day with your child imaginative, joyful and fun! My journey in childcare has allowed me to connect with many wonderful families over the years. I have experience working as a full-time nanny, part time carer and night nurse for newborns. I’ve cared for children aged 0-13, specializing in infant care and toddlers. When not babysitting, you can catch me exploring LA parks or trying out new coffee shops. Reliable, organized and intuitive, I listen to your child's needs and respond in the best way possible for them. I am happy to assist with household upkeep as well, such as laundry, dishes, tidying up, etc. I am seeking part-time employment, (1-2 days a week) date night sitting/ occasional evening care, or temporary nanny/daycare coverage. I am open to more hours with the right fit! I am CPR and First Aid certified with a valid driver's license. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you!

Lovely experience having Evie watch our baby when we came to LA for a wedding. Calm and experienced, very good with all our specific requests.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
