Hello, my name is Alia. I am currently in graduate school in Pasadena. I have had extensive babysitting experience for the past 11 years. I’ve babysat children as young as 6 months & in groups as large as 12. I taught ice skating lessons to preschool aged kids and worked as a camp counselor for ages 10-14. I’ve participated in a number of other volunteer organizations tutoring kids of all ages. I absolutely love working with kids and teenagers and hope to be a pediatrician in the future! Hi, there! My name is Alyssa, and I am native to the Bay Area, having moved to LA in 2024. I love to read, learn about different cultures, cook, and spend time outdoors, usually by taking long walks around the neighborhood with my dog or just sitting outside and soaking in the sun. Having grown up in a big family I’ve always been surrounded by kids and loved it. Their happy-go-lucky nature and inquisitive spirit make it a joy for me! In terms of childcare experience: I've spent three summers working as a camp counselor for Steve and Kate's Camp in San Francisco. The attendance of campers varied on a daily basis but the Sunset location's average was around 130 kids. The ages ranged from 5 to 13. Every day was busy, and I never knew what to expect, but it was always a lot of fun. For three separate summers, I worked as a teaching assistant at my old high school, St. Ignatius College Prep, mainly working with middle school-aged kids.
