I have completed the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) program and received their certification, along with a First Aid certification card on August 15 and 18, 2024. I attended the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) basic lifesaving training class at the Monterey Park Fire Department in November 7-10. The CERT certificate will be sent out to participants in a couple of months. I have been caring for a young girl since 2024, starting when she was 9 months old (she is now 2 years and 8 months). Previously, from 2024 to 2025, I spent a year babysitting a 6-year-old girl and her 1-and-a-half-year-old brother.

I have been a school teacher for the last 15 years teaching young kids between 2-8 years old and I’ve had experience taking care of my nephews from when they were 8 months old. Starting August 19 will have online classes Wed & Thurs 6-8:45pm. Last school year I had an internship for a school district and was able to talk to kids one-on-one ages 4-12 while being stationed at a middle school in their wellness center. I was with a group of 8 kids by myself and watched over them during play, pool time, and walking field trips.
