With over 14 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to teenagers, I bring a warm, engaging, and highly professional approach to childcare. My goal is always to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely cared for. I have experience in nannying, tutoring, enrichment programs, daycare and preschool settings, summer camps, and youth recreation programs. I’ve worked extensively with children of varying personalities, learning styles, behavioral challenges, and special needs, and I’m known for being calm, patient, adaptable, and attentive. Qualifications: • TrustLine Certified (background checked) • CPR Certified • Clean driving record with reliable transportation • 63 five-star reviews on UrbanSitter with 48+ repeat families My background includes: • Tutoring students K–8 • Swim, music, and enrichment instruction • In-home daycare and preschool experience • 4 years at Livermore Valley Tennis Club working in the nursery, game room, and summer camp programs Education: • B.A. in Communication Studies • Multiple Associate Degrees in Communication Studies, Humanities, and Social & Behavioral Sciences • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mass Communication My communications background has given me a strong understanding of emotional intelligence, behavioral communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building. Every child communicates differently, and I pride myself on adapting my approach to each child’s personality and emotional needs while maintaining healthy structure and consistency. In addition to childcare, I bring a high level of professionalism, organization, and reliability from my leadership background in management and communications. Families appreciate that I’m dependable, proactive, and able to balance fun, structure, and genuine care. I’m also very comfortable in pet-friendly homes. I previously operated a dog daycare/cat hotel and worked as a veterinary technician, including caring for pets with medical and behavioral needs. I would love the opportunity to become a dependable support system for your family, and I look forward to connecting! Also, my rate is different depending on scope & location.

Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile. I’m 33 years old, a UC Berkeley graduate, and I’ve been working with children for almost 6 years now. I’ve cared for kids from as young as 2 weeks old up to 10–12 years old — but most of my experience (and love!) is with newborns and toddlers under 3. I’ve had wonderful experiences as a night nanny and with sleep training, keeping babies on schedule, soothing, feeding, changing, entertaining, and supporting them to reach their developmental milestones. With older kids, I’m very animated and fun, and I love bringing learning into play. In the afternoons, I often combined childcare with tutoring — especially for kids with ADHD or on the spectrum. I enjoy finding creative ways to keep them engaged, help with focus, and make learning less stressful and more fun. Before the pandemic, I also volunteered at Sylvia Mendez Elementary School, where I supported kids who were falling behind or facing challenges at home through group and one-on-one activities, arts, and educational games. I’ve worked with twins, multiples, and premature babies, and I believe children start learning from the moment they’re born. The best discipline, in my view, is the one that matches the parents’ style — and I tend to be a great fit for families who are detail-oriented and want someone attentive and reliable. A little about me: I’m a non-smoker, fully vaccinated, and pet friendly. I’d love to chat and see if I’d be the right fit for your family — whether you’re looking for newborn nights, toddler milestones, or after-school tutoring with some extra sparkle.

Amazing care provider in a pinch. Caring and loving and kind!

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 15 families in Napa, CA

My name is Rosey, and I have two years of experience working as an Au Pair, where I developed a strong passion for caring for children. My responsibilities included driving children to and from school and activities, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, planning engaging daily activities, and assisting with bath time and bedtime routines. In addition to childcare, I have experience working as a household assistant. I am skilled in cooking, cleaning, and running household errands, and I take pride in keeping an organized and comfortable home environment. I am also comfortable providing care for seniors. I have firsthand experience caring for my grandparents, assisting them with daily activities and offering companionship and support.

Rosey is fantastic! Our little ones were completely captivated by her and even tried to follow her home. We look forward to having Rosey back again in the future (if we are lucky enough to find her available again).

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
