Hi there! I have over 10 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to middle schoolers, and it’s truly been a joy every step of the way. I recently earned my MFA in Acting, and before that, I spent four years teaching drama classes to kids, helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and communication. Whether I’m caring for a baby or engaging an energetic middle-schooler, I approach every child with patience, warmth, and attentiveness. I’m also passionate about creating a calm, reliable presence in the home, so parents can feel supported and more available for their personal or professional lives. I believe open communication with families is key, and I always aim to be someone you can trust and count on. In my free time, I love cooking and learning new languages and I often find creative ways to bring those interests into the day with little ones.

Hello Parents, my name is Deanna. I am a certified postpartum doula and childcare professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school age. Families trust me because I combine expertise, patience, and a warm, dependable presence. I specialize in newborn and infant care—supporting feeding, sleep routines, and early development—but I also love engaging with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Whether it’s creating structured play for little ones, helping with homework, or keeping kids active and entertained, I tailor my approach to meet each child’s needs. What I provide: • Safe, nurturing care for infants with focus on early milestones • Creative and educational play for toddlers and preschoolers • Homework help and after-school support for elementary-age children • Calm, reliable presence that gives parents peace of mind • Household support to ease busy family routines Parents often describe me as professional, patient, and someone their children connect with right away. I understand the trust it takes to invite someone into your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. If you’re looking for a caregiver who can grow with your family—supporting your little one from the baby stage all the way through the school years—I’d love to connect. If your interested in booking me, please read my policy. Once you have scheduled a job with me, I assume you agree to the terms of this agreement. I look forward to meeting your family! Payment Policy: I plan my time and budget according to hours booked, so I require that I am paid for the entire booking regardless of hours actually worked. Booking Policy: If your looking to book me, I have a 4 hour minimum. (except for interviews) Cancellation Policy: Since I am requested by a lot of parents, I need a 24 to 48 hour notice of cancellation so I can book another family. If you do not cancel within that time frame, I request half payment of what would have made during the original booking. If I must cancel because I am either sick or have an emergency. I will make every effort to find you a replacement sitter. Additionally, on the next job, I will babysit an hour for free since I know cancelling can be an inconvenience.

Deanna is amazing and we couldn't recommend her more highly. She has saved the day on more than one occasion, is super friendly, always comes up with fun things to do with the kids, and most importantly, our kids love her. She's also fun to have around the house. Five sparkly stars.

I'd describe my personality as fun, positive and energetic I like working with kids because is pleasurable and fun. I'm looking for a job that I am respected, and the family-environment is easygoing. I started working with kids since my 15 years old. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, hike, spend time with my dog and my cat. Painting, coloring, cooking.. One thing you should know about me is I'm a good heart and straightforward. Also drama free and I will take care of your children as my own. My skills include CPR, help development and breathing work/meditation lessons with kids.

Julia was engaged while she was with our LO. She was patient, gave space to understand our daughter’s needs, and read and played with her. She’s a natural with kids! Our daughter had a great time with her, which, for any parent, is a relief.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
