Hi! I'm Anna and I love children! I love children so much because they are the most brilliant, hilarious, honest, authentic human beings. It is an honor to be entrusted with supporting them as they learn how to navigate this complex world. I taught pre-school at Play Mountain Place ( a Play School in LA since 1949) for four years. After which, I worked as a Nanny for 15 years. I worked with one family with two daughters ( ages 2 and 5 at start date) for four years, followed by a family with one daughter ( age 1 at start date) for six years. I most recent worked with a family with 5 year old triplets, for 5 years ( I met them on this site!) I have 12 units of Early Childhood Education course work. I also have a Yoga Teacher Certification with a specialty in yoga with children and Pre-Natal Yoga. My childcare philosophy is relationship driven. I believe in forging a strong connection with mutual respect and using Non-Violent Communication to resolve any conflicts. I love child led activities. I believe in play and natural consequences as learning tools. I use limits and balancing individual needs with group/family needs rather than discipline. I am imaginative, yet practical. Hi I have a couple years of experience with watching kids .I enjoy spending time with kids it is always been a passion of mine it is like a hobby to me .Some of the activities I would be doing is taking them the park taking them on walk .I am located in Los Angeles .I am 21 years old .

I am 27 , from a small town in Oregon. I have been in LA since September of last year. I am currently in school for massage therapy and chinese medicine, also getting my yoga teacher certification. I love animals, being outside, cooking, doing art, sewing, yoga, skateboarding, anything that gets my body moving or allows me to express my creativity. I am the oldest of 4 siblings so I have tons of experience with many different ages. The ages of children I’ve worked with are 5 months to 16 years. I have my postpartum doula certification as well, looking to expand my knowledge into assisting births as well :) I am also open to a personal assistant type role. I am a very kind, patient and compassionate person so your kiddos will be in the best hands! I am a kid at heart. I am someone you will be able to trust, as I am very responsible, respectful and attentive. I also have my own car and don’t mind helping out with commutes or pick ups/drop offs. Here’s a little about me: I’m energetic, compassionate, creative, and love working with and caring for children. I’m originally from San Francisco, went to undergrad at Tulane in New Orleans, and am currently in my second year getting my masters in clinical psychology at Pepperdine (West LA campus). During the week, you can find me working as an ABA behavior technician working with kids on the autism spectrum, at my practicum site working as a school therapist at a TK-8, in class, or finding any opportunity to do something creative and/or be outside! I have over 8 years of working with kids (generally ranging from 3 months to 14 years old) in school, summer camp, and babysitting settings.
