Hi - my name is Ashley and I’m currently a student at El Camino taking Child Development courses. I’m hoping to one day become a teacher or open an in home care service. I have previously worked as a private nanny/babysitter for a family with infants and toddlers, and have over 3 years of experience. I’m skilled in active supervision, engaging in play, bedtime and making meals. I’m patient, nurturing, empathetic, thoughtful, and passionate about caring for children’s wellbeing and creating a safe and fun environment.

Ashley was amazing she got along with my baby right away. She’s very professional well spoken and polite. My little one loved spending time with her.

I’m an experienced nanny, educator, and mother serving families throughout the South Bay and Los Angeles. I currently work as a TK Instructional Aide in Hermosa Beach while completing my Early Childhood Education coursework and pursuing my California teaching credential. I hold a B.A. in Developmental Psychology from UCSB and have worked with children for over 15 years in a variety of roles, including nannying, live-in au pair work, tutoring, classroom support, mother’s helper positions, and household assistance. My experience ranges from infants and toddlers to elementary-aged children, including children with learning differences special needs. I provide warm, reliable, and developmentally appropriate care focused on helping children feel safe, supported, and engaged. I enjoy incorporating outdoor play, reading, art, baking, and hands-on learning into daily routines. For younger children, I focus on responsive caregiving, routines, language development, and play-based learning. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to assist with light household tasks, home organization, errands, meal prep, pet care, and helping keep the home running smoothly. I have dependable transportation, am pet-friendly, and can provide excellent references. I’m currently seeking a consistent weekday position, ideally between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Laura babysat my four-year-old for the first time yesterday. She immediately gained his favor by having a few tricks in her bag, literally. She came prepared with many arts and crafts and little presents, which of course he loved. She took him to the park as well, which is one of his favorite pastimes. Highly recommend!

Beau-Blue 2 reviews

Hello, my name is Beau-Blue. I recently turned 30 and am a dedicated, hardworking professional with dual U.K. and U.S. citizenship and a lifelong background in childcare and pet care. At age 12, my mother opened a daycare in our family home. By 16, I was formally trained and verified to assist her in emergency situations, and the summer I turned 17, I worked alongside her full-time. During that time, I obtained Infant through Adult CPR certification and became a certified lifeguard under Ofsted regulations. I continued working with her for four additional consecutive years, maintaining all certifications while balancing those responsibilities with a full-time position in customer service and hospitality, until I relocated in 2017. In 2017, I moved to the United States to work at Camp Vega in Maine as an in-bunk camp counselor. I served as a “den mother” to children ages 5–8 and also taught photography and videography to campers ranging from 5–15 years old. In 2018, I relocated to Los Angeles. Alongside continuing my career in customer service and hospitality, I worked as a nanny for working families (including colleagues) and subsequently through word-of-mouth referrals. Professional references are available upon request. My responsibilities extended well beyond basic childcare. They included school pick-ups and drop-offs, transportation to extracurricular activities (with a vehicle provided), preparing nutritious snacks and full meals while accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies, assisting with homework and school projects, and managing structured bedtime routines. I am equally comfortable supporting morning routines. Additionally, I am happy to assist with light household errands as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the home. I truly enjoy working alongside families and bring my own attentive, nurturing approach to create a happy, healthy, and engaging environment for children. I look forward to getting to know yours.

Beau is amazing with kids! She’s attentive, yet easy going. She’s able to tap into her child like wonder to help your child learn and grow all while having fun. She’s punctual and holds herself to a high standard of professionalism in all of her responsibilities. She’s very compassionate and kindhearted. I’ve known her to help complete strangers, especially when children are involved. She’s the kind of person to give you the shirt off her back with a smile on her face because she knows she will also be taken care of in return. She’s great in a crisis if one were to ever arrive and she’s incredible at foreseeing possible outcomes of situations and choosing the best option for safety. I value my friendship with Beau immensely and will ask her to be the godmother of my future children.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
