Hi families! My name is Ashley and I’m so happy you’ve found your way to my profile. Caring for children has been such an important part of my life for the past seven years and it’s so much more than a job to me. It’s truly something I love and feel deeply called to do. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages from tiny newborns fresh into the world, to curious toddlers exploring everything around them, all the way up to independent 5th graders discovering who they are. Every stage of childhood is unique and I feel honored to be part of those precious milestones. In addition to my childcare experience, I’m also a full-spectrum doula currently focusing on postpartum care supporting families as they adjust, heal and find their rhythm during those early months with their new baby. Outside of work, I enjoy hobbies that spark creativity and balance: gardening, cooking, reading, sewing, skating and crocheting. I’m a first-year Environmental Studies major studying at UCR but originally from LA. I have years of childcare experience, caring for children from infants to age 10 since I was ten. I’m American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue certified and have worked with kids across LA County through Girl Scouts and as a YMCA camp counselor. I’m patient, responsible, and energetic. I love planning outdoor activities like picnics, water play, and creative adventures, as well as encouraging a love for reading. I'm also experienced with dogs as I have three little ones of my own. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for every child in my care.

I am a college student pursing a Bachelors of Science and Applied Arts in Child Development at San Diego State University. I have known I have wanted to be an educator since I was a young child therefore in middle school at age 11 I started babysitting my neighbors young kids aged 7, 5, and 3. I babysat them occasionally for about 4 years until I was a sophomore in high school. That year I started working with my drama teacher to help elementary and middle school students find a passion for theater arts and was a day camp counselor at the drama departments summer camp. There I worked with students aged 5-11 for 2 weeks summer of 2022 and 2023. I also worked with 1st grade aged students at my local church from 2[removed] where I lead the students to and from worship and lead them through worship. I have a real passion for working with children and find it as my way to help and support my community. I have always felt drawn to this type of work and feel as though my patience and problem solving skills have really enhanced the way I treat children I work with.

Hi! My name is Janiece, and I would love to help take care of your little ones. I have a genuine passion for working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. With experience in teaching and a bilingual background in Spanish, I enjoy helping children learn and grow through play and engaging activities. I used to work at the YMCA daycare and summer camp for three years. Going on explorations to the park, swimming classes, and other outdoor outings like movie theatre, and shopping runs. We would also have creative freedom time such as coloring, building, and science experiments. But would also stay in the facility working with newborns and toddlers. I then transitioned to helping high school students, helping with homework, and class work. I currently am an assistant art teacher. Helping with 3d art and sculpture. As well as creating schematics in architectural design. In some cases I also sit one on one helping students with presentations, papers, attire, and verbal communication.
