Hi families- My name is Lhamo I’m a nurturing and dependable nanny with over 7 years of experience caring for infants and toddlers. Supporting little ones through their early stages of growth is truly my passion, and I feel honored to be part of those special milestones. I have hands-on experience with newborn care, feeding, introducing solids, diapering, potty training, sleep routines, and encouraging early learning and development. I love creating a calm, structured, and loving environment where children feel safe, happy, and confident to explore the world around them. Story time, sensory activities, music, and outdoor walks are some of my favorite ways to engage little ones. I’m patient, reliable, and value open communication with parents so we can work together as a team. I also love pets and am very comfortable around animals, so furry family members are always a bonus! My goal is to become a long-term, trusted support for your family and a warm, positive presence in your child’s life. I look forward to connecting with you! 😊

Lhamo did an amazing job watching our 8 month old baby girl. She is so kind and patient. She was able to jump in and play with our daughter and get her to sleep.

Hi, my name is Janneth I am easy going, intuitive, and responsible. I am also a mom to a smart and curious 10 year old. I have a lot of experience working with newborns, toddlers, and teenagers. In my day to day life I wear many hats mom, wife, manager, big sister, and care taker to many students. I work in higher ed and have been working specifically in student services for the past 5 years. I have experience working with students from diverse racial and socio-economic backgrounds. Before that, I spent 2 years teaching English to children aged 5-10. I started babysitting at a young age for my family and neighbors and have been taking care of children ever since. After having my son, I took a break from work to focus on his care, but now that he is older and more independent, I am able to return to babysitting and work with other families.

I'd describe myself as calm, I'm patient, and self less. I enjoy taking care of children, because kids are fun, they always have something funny or "out of the blue" to say, they carefree and just enjoy life. There's always something one can learn from a child, they are the best humans to take care of and even spend time with. I am looking for a healthy environment as a working space. Where communication can flow easily, critics are well understood. And clear expectations from both family and myself I started working with kids when I was a teenager, I have 10year experience. I was an au pair for the past year. In my spare time, I either watch television or read a book. I take pride in all the kids I watch because at the it is a reflection of me too. And I am currently taking a Montessori course, to improve my childcare skills My patience for kids is my number one and best skill. I very attentive and always at the top of my feet. The child is the biggest priority

Charlene is a wonderful sitter/nanny! She arrives promptly. She does an amazing job with our little one. We’re so blessed to receive her childcare services!

Booked by 4 families in Port Costa, CA

Hi, my name is Kristen, and I'm 25 years old. My experience with children includes working as a special education assistant at preschools and elementary schools since 2018, and nannying occasionally for families. I have a childlike spirit, and love planning fun themed activity days with the kids, arts and crafts, dancing to Disney soundtracks, and going on field trips to parks and museums! I love curling up in cozy corners at the library, where the kids and I can learn about animals, caring for our environment, outer space, and ancient history together! Another big hobby of mine is video and board games, so I would love to have game nights with the kids after they do their homework! :) I was encouraged to nanny because of my mindfulness and gentleness with kids. I care greatly about listening openly to children and their needs, instead of using a strict, disciplinary approach. I am good at soothing intense emotions and handling chaotic situations in a calm, gentle, and compassionate manner. I'm looking forward to meeting you, your kids, and your pets!! Thank you for your time! <3

Cared for newborns (preemies & twins) and infants to preschoolers! Families’ references include the words caring, nurturing, patient, honest, flexible, punctual and playful , with me being called “Aunty” by the little ones who easily adapt to and are comfortable with me. Keeping open communication about their day and evening activity with parents is a priority, while focusing on their safety and maintaining a clean environment with no distractions from electronics. Being available for sleep training and transitioning babies from breast/bottle to solid food are invaluable. Along with a keen awareness of developmental goals and providing age appropriate educational activities as little ones grow, are proven examples of an experienced, well educated caregiver who strives to maintain a calm, respectful and positive family structure.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
