I have gained a lot of experience working with different types of children over the years. Hi, I'm Sydney!! I am 23 years old and would love the opportunity to work for your family. I’m a recent University of California, Santa Barbara graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Communications. I grew up in a family with two younger siblings, so from the day they were born, I’ve been used to caring for kids and have always enjoyed it. In addition to my family experience, I’ve also been babysitting for families in my neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Whether it was after-school care, weekends, or date nights, I’ve had the opportunity to work with kids of all ages and love creating a safe and fun environment for them. In addition to my nanny experience, I also worked as a camp counselor at Tocaloma Summer Camp, where I was responsible for a group of 13 energetic five-year-olds. This role gave me the opportunity to balance fun and structure while ensuring the safety and happiness of each child. It was such a valuable experience that allowed me to build patience, creativity, and strong leadership skills, as well as a deep appreciation for fostering growth and independence in young children. Most recently, I was part-time as a nanny for a 2-year-old and 5-year-old, where I was responsible for light cleaning, meal prep, transportation to and from cheer camp, and planning engaging daytime activities.
