Hi! My name is Aleksandra. I am a caring, responsible, and patient childcare provider with several years of experience working with young children, especially toddlers and preschoolers ages 1–4. I currently work as a preschool teacher, where I plan and lead educational activities, creative projects, science experiments, music activities, games, and age-appropriate learning experiences. I enjoy helping children learn through play, creativity, and exploration while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and supported. I have experience with daily routines, meals and snacks, nap time, diaper changes, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and keeping children engaged throughout the day. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I am patient, attentive, organized, and energetic. I understand that every child has their own personality and needs, and I always try to create a positive and caring environment. Sasha $30 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Sasha, and I’m a responsible, caring, and dependable college student with years of childcare experience. I currently work at a development center where I care for children ages 6 months to 1 year old in my classroom, helping create a safe and engaging environment for infants during such an important stage of development. I have been babysitting since middle school and have experience caring for children of almost all ages. Growing up with a younger brother who I helped care for also gave me hands-on experience from an early age and strengthened my love for working with kids. From helping with homework and keeping children entertained to preparing simple meals and bottles, bedtime routines, I understand how important it is for families to have someone dependable and trustworthy. I also volunteered at my preschool growing up, which helped me build patience and a strong connection to childcare early on. I’m patient, energetic, and naturally great with kids, and I enjoy creating a safe and environment. In addition to childcare, I’m comfortable helping with pets and light household tasks like tidying up, dishes, laundry, and keeping spaces organized. I value kindness, communication, and reliability, and my goal is to be someone your family can truly depend on!

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Bruno, CA

Working with little ones is truly my passion, and over the past five years, I have had the wonderful privilege of helping infants and toddlers reach their most exciting developmental milestones. Whether it is gently guiding a baby from crawling to their very first steps or helping a toddler find their words through bilingual Spanish immersion, I love being a steady, nurturing presence in a child's life. I recently channeled my love for learning into completing my Master's degree in Creative Writing , a journey that has only deepened my dedication to providing thoughtful, high-quality care and sparked my imagination for storytelling with children. To me, caregiving is about more than just managing a schedule; it is about building a bond of trust and creating a joyful environment where children feel safe to explore and grow. When I am not with my "work family," I find so much light in the simple things in life, and I bring that same warmth and positivity into every home I enter. I also understand that pets are a beloved part of the family, and I am very happy to work in homes with furry friends. As a pet owner myself, I am completely comfortable managing daily routines while surrounded by cats or dogs, ensuring that the entire household feels balanced and happy. If you feel that my background and professional skills are a great match for your needs, I would be more than happy to share the wonderful references I have from the previous families I have supported over the years. I look forward to the possibility of helping your family thrive!

Natalia was such an incredible blessing to our family. She took care of our son Monday-Friday for two years (since he was just 13 months old). Natalia cared for him as if he were her own. It was so wonderful to see the bond they had. If she was ever unsure of how I wanted her to handle a particular situation, she'd ask clarifying questions and was always very receptive to feedback. At the end of each day, she gave me an update to let me know how things went (activities, food, sleep, potty, etc.). She drove our car to take him to/from gymnastics class and she actively participated in the class with him, the way a parent would. Natalia was even kind enough to care for him in the evening for the occasional date night. While Natalia speaks perfect English, we'd asked her to speak to our son in Spanish. Because of her, he is now able to understand a fair amount of Spanish and can even translate some basic phrases to English. What an incredible gift she's given him. When our son started preschool, we were devastated to know that we wouldn't be seeing her every day. She's intelligent, responsible, kind, and loving, and we could not have asked for a better caregiver for our son.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
